@thatapplegeek Great! Although I did talk about my MacBook Air, now that the new ones are out, I think they are great options too. But $600 is still a great value.
@STUDIOaraikenta Yeah, I'm enjoying it. My only complaints are the 1 USB port and no firewire. I got the 1.86GHz mid-2009 model. I'm about to upgrade it to an SSD, that should make it a lot faster.
@STUDIOaraikenta Yeah, my 2006 MacBook is basically comparable to it right now (although, not in graphics performance. The MacBook Air's NVidia 9400M with 256MB of VRAM "screams" compared to the GMA 950 with 64MB of VRAM) just do to the (4200RPM) HDD. Once I have the SSD, it will stab the razor thin edge into the MacBooks Intel Core Duo CPU. Why did Apple put a 4200RPM drive in the lower end model? Why not just a standard 5400RPM? Well, I'm getting an SSD anyway.
@STUDIOaraikenta would you be willing to sell your MacBook air 2009? Please get back to me soon

@thatapplegeek Great! SSDs are just SO much faster. If you use a hard drive on a slow CPU, it just lags like crazy!

@thatapplegeek I believe because back then, they didn't have 1.8inch drives that ran at 5400rpm.
