Not sure how old you are, but look on ebay and you can find some really nice performance and cosmetic mods for cheap. My maxima could beat a Prelude in the quarter mile.
Cool thing about the max is that it's like a sleeper. Everyone thinks its a slow sedan till u floor it and blow past em like they r standin still. :)

Well it was pavement with some gravel in the edge of the corner, so that's a lil different kuz i wasn't expecting it.
I was doing around 60-70 before the corner and in the corner i was going mabe 35-40. It was them momentum already built up that got me tho. It's actually a really safe car, I liked it a lot. I was 16, I just wasn't mature enough at the time. Its ur classic example of an immature dumbass kid.

Thats too bad man. 4th gen Maximas a beautiful cars especially the first edition SE's like yours. I have the exact car except in white. You should cherish what it was. Though you could find another one pretty cheap. Theres tons of them left.

Why do you say wasted? She looked in excellent condition to me... Man, Maxima's from 1995 to early 2000 are the best! And they seem to last a lot longer than the ones that followed. I think that they're also more reliable.

naa the whole car was stock. I had plans just not enuff time to do them. I was gonna cool air, put a header and cat back exhaust, and i was playin with the idea of a turbo. along with some rims and a stilen lip kit.
Yeah, my car is stock too. Would you recommend me to invest in my car (like adding a turbo kit) considering that the car needs transmission rebuild soon as well as replacing the clutch (about a 1000 bucks total). It does have 151K miles on the clock and bone stock right now.
I'd fix ur car b4 i'd buy anything extra like a turbo. but that car is a kickass car and it's wicked fast for a sedan. but after u fix it if u plan on keeping it for a while i'd start to do somethings to it.
i have a black on black 95' I invoiced from Japan when it came out, put the stillen trim kit and a cold air on it with some Enkei RS7 bronze. I've done some stupid stuff too and ruffed it up a but on the back right side bumper and front lip. I had a flu shot and tried to drive, scraped the side of my garage and the lip crunched under the car from smashing it against a curb :P. Sorry for your loss, same shit different day I guess. Enjoy the 5 speed though, always fun.

I miss my old maxx. It was shortened about 4 feet when a full size cheve van from the 80s hit me. he was doing 60 mph and I was at a stop.
