Street Spirit (the slow-mo) video you was reffering too was actually released in the mid 90's, even before the first Matrix was realeased. As for depressing music videos, I fucking love them. I actually can't think of any depressing Radiohead music videos though and I understand every single one of them... (except Paraniod Android of course)

It doesn't matter what he said. The point of the video, (my interpretation at least), is that the guy warned them and said, "I really shouldn't tell you." But they insisted, and as a result of him telling them, they became depressed as well. In short, they "did it to themselves," (as the lyrics go).
