  • That is pretty impressive, unless all those cars are empty.

  • S3K on the unit here?

  • Those sounds are excellent! Love the sounds

  • Its like a little version of the MK5000C!

  • That thing looks like a beast.

  • I had the horrable job of assembling a caterpillar gernerator for the U.N. in N.Y.C and all I ca n say.. Poorly made crap with most of it parts from China. I felt bad for their assembley pm Who was on the job to help over see the Project...Eww if I never see another one it will be too soon.

  • no caterpillar powered trains here....

  • What about it ???? Did I miss something ?

  • @Alexvideoclip You didn't miss a thing, hand!!!

  • yea the thomas train hehe

  • all i can think of is Thomas the train...

  • on the island of sodor with sir toppem hat...

  • BIG DIFFERENCE, This is an American Locomotive that is REAL, Thomas is a Model of a Fake

  • what railroad is this and where?

  • @Conraildan it is the Perioa & Pekin Union. They had 50 miles of track south of Perioa IL along the Mississippi River. The railroad is leased to another opperator now, and all the Cat powered locomotives are stored or sold off. Thanks for looking. Jackmp294

  • and its the Illinois River

  • i wonder which way its gonna turn

  • I wish they still had these locos and I wish it was still P&PU and not TZPR

  • @BNSF2184 I agree 100%. and I wish I had gone there a few more times to shoot them, and the TP&W. But, I didn't. Thanks for watching. Jack mp294

  • rofl yeah, whats so speacial about this

  • @swilloughby32 why would you click and watch the video then...YOU SIR ARE STUPID

  • great job

  • great vid

  • I used to be obsessed with trains. My favorite paint schemes are the yellow/red Sante Fe and the orange/silver Western Pacific.

  • Cat is High Dollar to maintain is why you see little of it and talked to some engineers said the power curve does not fit well in locos

  • What are the great loco engines then? I've always liked those yellow Union Pacific trains. We get a lot of those around here in CA.

  • @tubeyouguy1984

General Motors EMD v16 in the 40-2 but they are being replaced by new clean diesel technology

  • @stx450 Let's not forget that it's the traction motors that do the work... the engine just spins a big alternator to supply power to the wheels.

  • How can you tell what brand of engine it has?

  • By doing research of the locomotives model number. SC15A-3. I like your page BTW. Thanks for watching. ..

  • CAT power is great. I wish there were more of it.

  • looks like a CF7 carbody

  • that's a sharp looking engine. nice shot

  • Great video *****

  • Love the ending...great job

  • I love the ending...great job
