Guys, guys! I found the answer! The man did come, but he's not a human. He's a spirit that live under the sakura tree where Miku and he made promise. That's why the man suddenly come and protect Miku. "When you become and adult, we'll come to help you, so..." means he comes with other spirit from the sakura tree. "The smile I so loved, took my hand." means that the spirit (the man) take her away from this world.

@missioncircle1 Well, it could be the person she was waiting on and her mother, because I get the feeling the father might have beaten bpth daughter and mother. "And my mom who would scream" might mean screaming at the husband and not the daughter. So, the mother could have help him, whoever the daughter was waiting on, to over power the father. That's the only way I came think of that the line makes sense... I could be wrong though... :P

From the way I see it, she was waiting for a friend from a while ago. They (probably a he) told her that when she was an adult, they would come back and help her from her abusive family, and that they would meet each other again under the cherry blossoms. Well she became an adult and went to see the person only to find that they weren't there. She went home, got beat by her father, before suddenly the person came in and, from what I can tell, beat the parents with a tree branch.
