lol! how bout u just edit boot.ini for xp and bcedit.exe for vista and vienna? ;) As so: ;-------------- [boot loader] timeout=5 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="XP" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDETECT /USEPMTIMER /KERNEL=KERNEL1.EXE multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Vista" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDETECT /USEPMTIMER multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(3)\WINDOWS="Vienna" ;---------------
This is Windows XP with another facelift. If you want fancy shmancy graphics, then get Linux with Compiz-Fusion. Windows loves inventing useless crap that you actually can't turn off or modify. With Linux, the OS is at your mercy. with Windows, you're at the mercy of Microsoft.
I was telling people that the SuperBar was avaliable in the build 6801 and they were denying it ! but I havent used it before but u get it by right clicking the taskbar properties as what i assumed ????
and is that a taste of what Windows Media Player 12 has to offer ? lol. and is it faster than vista ?
The "superbar" looks just like KDE 4.1's desktop panel with its "Aya" theme (one of its default installed themes), just with extra 'glow' added (the KDE panel 'glows' as well). Even widget panels look like KDE 4.0, same theme, different colours.
Its a KDE look, with some superficial eye candy, but without the power of KDE's Plasma shell.
I'm not completely cynical and negative though, I do like the snap to feature I've seen where windows snap to the desktop edges in a twin panel view, handy.
looks like vista
