If anyone said the obvious, "They sound like Arcade Fire in a strange almost abstract way." I'd agree. But I don't think they sound like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Strokes.  BSS is quite possible one of the closest to "perfect" bands playing over the last decade or so. There aren't many bands this riveting and sonically pleasing in my opinion. And this album in particular, "You Forgot It In People" definitely fits that time defying type of status.

About two years ago, I got to open up for an experimental jazz band with my own band. All the guys were from Toronto, and of all people on the alto sax, it was the dude who played the riff on this tune at about 1:03, Brodie West! It didn't click in until a few days after the gig, but it was still pretty cool!
