  • Amazing. Thank you for posting.

  • Bravo!

  • Holy shit brother, that;s mad skills!!

  • Nice cover. I used to do sound for Michael in Baltimore in the '70's and heard this one a lot. Nice that you picked it up. Peace.

  • this guys nailed this piece he deserves credit its an almost impossible song to play

  • really enjoyed it

  • Astonishing! Years of hard work & loads of talent.

  • Excellently played.

  • 'technically well' is a bit of an understatement I think, he has it more or less perfect but I'd have to agree.

  • This guy is simply awesome... period.

  • @brainsprocket

I agree, watching Hedges is like watching the true 'feeling' of MUSIC. This reminds me of the movie 1941, where they decide that they have to technically make the huge radio smaller.

  • Great performance and feel

  • Beautiful.

  • You managed to give the song that same relaxed vibe that Michael had when he played it, really awsome!

  • Yes mi dadz, nice picking

  • muy bueno amigo

  • almost 100% the same .. very nice man!

  • nice work man, i'd say just 1.kick the tempo up a couple of clicks and 2. play those low D's REALLY loud, like make them shake the guitar JUST ENOUGH to get that certain timbre...like hedges does...then your golden!!

  • Great Job!

  • Excellent!

  • Nicely done...

  • Sorry those guys picked your video to have a "pissing contest" about ...trust me, it had nothing to do with you ... very nice rendition, attention to nuances, feel, harmonics ...I give it an A, and I learned from you ...Thanks! I saw Hedges play this in Orlando in his last year. He was of this planet, but his playing was from a different world! Cheers,

  • theres no way you could of seen hedges last year, he died in 1997! =-P

  • Why don't you go back a read it a little slower my friend! I never said I saw him play it last year, I said, "I saw Hedges play this in Orlando in his last year."

  • Bravo, great job. This song like so many others from Hedges that amaze me. Technically it is so different and unique, yet it is absolutely beautiful musically. It always makes me wonder how someone can write such a beautiful song and have the technical capability to pull it off (even after hearing and seeing, it is still very difficult to play). Did Hedges write this in his head and then figured out technically how to pull it off, or vice versa?? Great cover man.

  • Like it a lot. You are a cool customer, no doubt about it.

  • Absolutely wonderful

  • fantastic!!!

  • Good job, HoJun Lee! That sounded so much like Hedges himself. I need to find the tab so that I can play it myself.

  • i dont usualy like this sorta stuff but that was really gd

  • :O QLIAO WENO PA LAS CUERDAS ö

  • whats the tuning?

  • DADGAD!

  • excellent

  • Nicely played, Im sure you realise that you forgot some. I hate that hat.

  • What? I was just stating a fact. It's called criticism. I'm not going to suck the dick of whoever posts a video on youtube just because it's there

  • you only wish you had that talent

    fuck you

  • (talking to banjorol VV)

  • Faster, dammit :[

  • He really did this song justice, great work HoJun.

  • HoJun Lee - This is a very tricky guitar piece and you play it well and with confidence. It would be great to see other videos, especially other pieces by Michael Hedges.

You skipped the final part of the song, but what you did play is terrific!

  • thumbs up, I had my doubts anyone would ever get this right besides the King himself, God rest his soul, congrats

  • Man, this was a brilliand cover (your live rendition of this tune is not second to it)! Congratulations and keep on posting!

  • He adds a little asian flavour to it.

  • does anyone know what guitar he is playing?

    Cheers =->

  • I must agree - very difficult to play. However, the tune is not complete and thats a shame - it has a dreamlike finish that compliments the tune nicely.

  • I couldn't agree more - he plays it well, but skips a huge part of the composition. If you did that with a classical piece, you'd be burned at the steak. Since this is structured fairly classically, it leaves the tune quite unresolved in my opinion :( But for what it is, it's pretty well done :)

  • sweet,sweet,sweet

  • you make it seem so effortless ...

    amazing...

  • great! you certainly practiced a lot ;-)

  • Truly amazing!

  • Fantastic work! I'm using your video as a reference whilst learning from the Stropes sheet music - it's a big help :)

  • is there no video of Michael Hedges doing this?

  • amazing rendition, one of Michael's MOST difficult songs! nice work

  • nice job!

  • What the hell? You are a genius.Close your eyes and listen. The music will take you away. Savant? I'll search further

  • ya

  • chal hessum ni da!!!

  • Wow!! Can you speak Korean? :D

  • That is awesome. I'm completely blown away that you can cop those licks perfectly. Outstanding!

  • Do you have any original stuff?

  • damn good!

  • you are very talented brother, but it's time to do your own stuff.

  • Great stuff dude

  • Outstanding job. Sounds just like the original. Great work.

  • You are an excellent player my friend.
