  • the ws6 is a 5.7 L for one. And this is an lt1 that is inferior to the ls1 by miles. Plus the lt1 is a 2 valve per cylinder pushrod engine. The nsx is dohc 4 valve per cylinder. stfu

  • @Model192 Thats because the cars they are racing have engines that are about half the size... Also, being fast on a nice smooth racetrack is pretty easy for a live axle car. However, things get unnecessarily tricky when things get uneven. Finally, don't believe everything you see on tv ; )

  • The WS6 was the older LT1 version. The LS1 WS6 (98-02) would easily hang with an NSX both being stock

  • I don't think that was a WS6 because it had the older front end onit. Maybe it was but that car didn't have a LS1 it had the LT1 wich was a shitty engine. But good kill NSX.

  • Its a fact I can't state a fact. All I meant about that is that the Mclaren F1 was modeled off of the NSX. The NSX was one of the fastest things to come out in its day, The only problem with it is they never made any improvements on it. It is a fine vehicle.

  • The only thing that video told me was the nsx had more horsepower ... go from a dig and lets see all the torque from that lt1 put about 2 cars on that nsx. That is if the ws6 driver knows how to launch

They're both important but in lower revving cars Torque is more important cause that's the powerband the car stays in. I'm not trying to start fights with anyone. Bottom line, Fastest stock NSX runs a 13.3 in the 1/4, WS6s have run in the 12s bone stock. If you wanna pay $80,000 for a 13 second car be my guest. 175 mph isn't impressive either.

    A S2k won't beat a Camaro in a drag race, unless the Camaro driver is absolutely horrible. An LS1 Camaro is a solid mid/low 13 second car with a decent driver, where as the S2k runs in the mid14's as well as the '99-'04 Mustang GT's with a decent driver.

  • you know I've been shopping around for another 2002 Trans Am or a Corvette, and I haven't seen any of them with leaking parts. I've had my T/A since 2000 and it's a 1998 and I have never had any issues from the engine, transmission, axle, drive train or suspension. only problem was the waterpump seals went bad and the knock sensors and that is it. and it's still running like new with170k mile. Take that bitch! lol

  • Dude. I have a 98 Grand prix GTP. 200k on it runs like new, no leaks, no problems. By the way I get 30-36mpg on the highway in a heavy ass car with a boosted V6

    No they're supercharged 3.8L. Yes, around where I live (omaha nebraska) I get about 36 on the highway. doing 80 up to colorado I got 30-33, depending on whether or not I was driving through heavy construction.

  • 0-60 in 4.7 seconds isn't very impressive for a 292hp car weighing 3000 lbs. Mach 1 Mustangs (03-04) put down 305hp and weigh just shy of 3500 lbs and match that 0-60. NSX would be a much better contender if it didn't have pizza cutter tires and put down more than 220 lbs of torque. I would guess a stock WS6 would eat a stock NSX alive. It has over 100 more lbs of torque for the first 5200 rpms and over 50 more hp throughout the entire rpm range. Only weighs like 400 lbs more.
