Fishers nephew David Croft was played by Guy Pearce who was Mike Young in neighbours,he was going out with Sophie at the time who was killed by Sophies future sister in law Karen Dean who ended up banged up for murder,Sophie later married Blake.The actor that played Sophies Dad also played Doug Willis in Neighbours.

The brilliant hour and half first ever episode is not on youtube,but is on another Home and Away site online to see. Some of my favourite times of the show were in the early years,from 88 to 96. After the Shane/Angel/Shannon/Selina years,the following cast didnt do anything for me,other charachters I liked left,and I lost interest in it overtime. Started watching it agian recently,and its good,but you cant beat the classics!!

I would absolutly love to see full episodes from this era of Home and Away again. This scene was in its first year- and having watched it,I remember it all so well again. Its been a good while since I kept up with it,but the early years were brilliant. If anyone has full episodes out there from the late 80s- please post them up!!

Aww this music always used to make me cry when I was young. Its so heartbreakingly beautiful. H & A used to use lots of emotional piano music. It was wonderfully used!!! Its not the same anymore :(
