  • would you recommend this over melodyne? how much does this cost? i cant find the pricing on the waves website, melodyne is well too expensive for what it does, these tools are for minor adjustments, if you cant sing, dont!

  • INSANELY GREAT TOOL! THANKS!

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Look like ripoff from melodyne!

  • that's nice man but i hope you'll make high quality or hd videosan thanks bro that's really help me.

  • Couldnt watch the rest of the video after I heard "bring that ass up "

  • nice song...

    thanks for the tutorial

  • @polishcomedy and its funny because.........?

  • put that ass up in da air

  • nice....good lookin out...im boutz to fuccs wit this program

  • shake shake that ASSSzzz SHAKE THE CULOS BIIAATCH !!! PRA MY NIGGA !! PRA I LIKES THAT FO SHO homezzz come to me neck of my woodzz to get that thump thump in the trunk BOZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ !! oh yeah very nice tutorial sir !!

  • Professionally unprofessional... Love it... LOL!

  • OK. Waves have made some good plugins but seriously, the international musician community (generally cool people) needs to boycott this Isreali company right now. If they don't make a statement supporting their Palestinian neighbours and denouncing isreali war crimes (the minimum we did against South Africa), then we should grind this company into the dust. Who's with me?

  • LMFAO

  • @cindycirca

    hope it 's something good!

    chris

  • @polishcomedy Not a British accent at all mate..

  • Can the t-pain effect be accomplished with this plugin? If so what are the settings?

  • Hey FMC,

Can the T-pain effect be accomplished with this plugin? IF so what are the settings? I recently purchased the waves bundle and I'm looking for a more in depth tutorial explaining this plugin's in and out's.

  • @polishcomedy i thought this was funny too...

  • how do i get this to work with sony acid pro?? im tearing my hair out trying to get it to work

  • Is there a way to copy a scene & paste it to another area of the song, so I won't have to manually adjust a recurring chorus each cycle?

  • mohooks wants that ass in the air ;p

  • Thanks for posting this

  • waves tune is definitely the best pitch correction software for vocals. i've used melodyne and auto tune for years, but waves tune is the only one that can correct a REALLY shitty vocal performance but still have it sound natural

  • That song is....not even a song.

  • Is the phrase "back that thang up" used anywhere in the song?

  • If not, it should be. lol. I love hip hop, but this was generic. Legit sounding plugin though.

  • Can waves plug in stretch time? Cause that's important too.

  • waves isnt one plugin, its a bunch of em. They can do alot of things..

  • Not this plug-in.

Melodyne would be able to do that.

The host program (Logic etc) can generally also do time-stretching.

  • I still prefer Melodyne because it just seems easier to use.

  • yo dat track iz hot son!!!...low low....lol

  • Word.

  • wow he is so wackkkkkkkkkkk dammmmm that sound so bad dude for real not hoateing im theeling u the truth

  • does this work with vista ultimate

  • are u doing this in cubase studio 4 or cubase 4

  • I love the song!!!

    Where can I download it?

  • hahahh aw man those lyrics

this plug in is dope though

  • Great vid!

  • Bahahaha. When he played the song i about crapped my pants.

  • you all need to get over the "professional review sh*t." this is fine.

  • agreed. seriously if you work with this stuff you are gonna bump into a lot of "real world" lyrics. he is just putting it down like it is without being over the top

  • thank you for this helpful review.

  • Very unfortunate example with those lyrics. Couldn't you have picked something a little more pro? It's called marketing.

  • sorry audiotrax2000 times have changed since your day.

rap and hip-hop is a very large market and these lyrics are extremely tame in this genre.

this album on release sold 250,000 copies.

    regards Chris

  • That's really sad.

  • @floridamusiccompany hahaha, you just owned..... Thanks very much, I much appreciate it anyway, I just got this plug in and kinda needed this real quick and very helpful tutorial to get started,,,, Was using melodyne essential before, Was causing heaps of problems with my pro-tools system, Waves tune seems like such a massive upgrade on it,,,

  • @floridamusiccompany but was it right to have a post with those lyrics? I'm not arguing the fact that kids buy music with these "tame" lyrics.. But simply, was it the right thing to do? Personally I think it was funny, but I next time maybe you should take into consideration the folks who dont get out much... It really was a good laugh though.. Thanks for the reviews!!

  • pro? bah

  • @audiotrax2000 every engineer can understand having to suffer through hours of shit like that

its a dirty job but someones gotta do it

  • Does anyone know why Waves Tune might not scan the recorded audio? Sometimes it works fine, but often I'll have a recorded section and Waves Tune doesn't scan it, as if there was no signal in the audio track. I just want it to turn orange and scan in the notes!!

  • Really nice review. Like the song and what you have done with the vocals.

  • i dont get it!.

    is it a polish joke?

  • Just thinking for a professional review you could have used lyrics that were a little classier, not 2 Live Crew.

  • i think its funny the lyrics are like that. that is truly punk. like music in a lot of aspects that was one of those "what did i just hear?" which is good in music. its only about moving an ass. they have been doing that since the 1950s. hahaha yeah but i agree may be unapropriate for kids under 18 who are using expensive plugins...

  • kids under 18? hmmm

I think modern times kids under 9

    its kind of sad

    haha

  • haha!

  • no disrespect chris but melodyne is betta, i found this 1 hard 2 use

  • yep we use melodyne also but for this effect we found waves tune did the job, definitely melodyne is king on the easy user front.

    regards chris

  • Hey Chris ,love your reviews, are you ever going to review EWQL Goliath? or anything else that uses the play system?

in Waves tune , can you import MIDI Data?

  • midi data is read from a track so you don't have to import.

you can also export midi data from waves tune.

    regards chris
