Shamefully I have to say I dropped this one.

The characters were great and cute, but the story was kinda generic, and the main problem was the gameplay. I played FF:Tactic Advance and Disgaea for 150 hours each, so I was already saturated with that gameplay: But this game was a drawback: No class changes, no different skilling, no unlockable jobs. Its a real pity about the nice art, characters and atmosphere, but well...

I'm sure I'll get rated down for saying this, but I never really found this game to be that good. I wanted to love, but I just couldn't. The somewhat weak story and repetitive gameplay ruined the charming characters and surprisingly good voice acting.

Though if you liked this game, I would recommend Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for the DS, very similar, but better in every way.

If Luminous Arc gets enough media attention as well as an ever-growing fanbase, then yes, I believe it has potential to become an anime series of it's own right or even a movie.

just go on gamefaqs, find it's entry there, and click the "check prices" tab. and while it is worth getting (IMO at least), you might wanna get the second one instead, as it is far superior, and you do not need to play the first to get the plot since it takes place in a completely different universe (the only things you'll miss out on will be references to the first game).

He's also pretty much the strongest character in the entire game... he already starts to have 'one hit kills' at like, 1/4th of the game.

That and, he's like the big brother of both Alph and Theo... and he's epic.
