I understand Fishbone's argument in this song of modern commercial radio not honing in on all the sounds of a generation. They still had a fan base, and still have one.

WOW! The last time I saw this video was on the old U68 video channel in NJ back in 1985, when I was a freshman in high school. I never thought I'd ever see this video again - thanks for posting!!!
This was an awesome video when it came out, I thought. The Buggles originally said that video killed the radio star. Fishbone, on the other hand, begged to differ with this song.
Right on the heals of new wave came these cats! I lived in LA and was more than happy to go see them on Venince Beach. Still luv these dudes! "these are the voices"
I know you're being sarcastic, inform... but I know for a fact that they were influenced by Devo. I remember them mentioning it in an interview.
Polysics is another group that was influenced by Devo. They're a Japanese group. You might want to check them out, because even Mark Mothersbaugh has said that he thinks they're great.
Wow! I never expected to find this vid. Didn't know the title to this song and I've been searching for it for quite a while. Caught it by accident! Thanks loads for posting!
Norwood is one of the reasons I do what I do. thank you Norwood and Fishbone. FISHBONE SOLJA!!!

The only black group I know of that were directly influenced by DEVO.
If I didn't know what they looked like, I'd think they were the Spud Boys themselves.

I can certainly hear a DEVO influence in the vocals especially.
