  • Do you use Holosync?

  • @BifurPoint What is Holosync?

  • @vagabondsteve Meditation on steroids basically... centerpointe com... it's amazing, will change your life, I've been using it since 09.

  • Another great video; thank you Steve. Observing the mind might be a bit uncomfortable at times if we have not yet reached a place of acceptance. But it pales in comparison to being so enslaved by it that we are unable to and do not even know that we can observe it for we take it to be us literally. It is like having tunnel vision and not knowing it because it is all that we have experienced. Of course, once our vision has been expanded we are forever changed.

  • You never fail to give me a lift. Thank you. May everything that you do for others come back to you thousandfold!

  • @beatakrejcova Thank you for your encouragement.

  • steve, try watching mooji for helping your contempolation he is a very good teacher!

  • that was great!! thanks

  • a possible antidote for perfection for some: "Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly."

  • I like coming to Steve's videos to get some positive energy flowing

  • ARE YOU SAYING GET LOST ON PURPOSE AND SEE WHERE IT LEADS YOU ???

  • @IROCZ28PHOENIX take a step back, go into 3rd person view like in a video game and observe that person you believed you were in first person view

  • i like listening to your videos steve. have you ever watched alan watts? you should check out some of his videos, VERY enlightening. i think in particular you will like them, because alot of what you say has to do with what he says.

  • The visceral honesty of your videos makes them enjoyable to watch. Your videos aren't edited or shot in 720p, nor do they have flashy intros/outros and that's actually why I like them. I'm trying to overcome analyzation paralyzation that so often plagues me and keeps me from acting - so thank you for your sincere and insightful videos.

  • @alttaab Thank you.

  • How old are you Steve? It's something that's been puzzling me for a while now.

  • I'm going through the EXACT same thing you were talking about. It's great to know I'm not the only one on this path.

  • Steve, what books do you recommend about Taoism? Thanks!

  • @aprilskies22 Tao Te Ching by Stephen Mitchell

  • The end of this video was especially inspiring. Thank you, Steve!

  • I hate all this new age lingo. Well, that's not entirely true -- but I hate most of it, such as, the infamous Ego. I swear, the ego is, basically, the part of us that's unaware, or like I've heard you mention numerous times, the preconditioning.

  • @tonyfalca No prob!

  • Terrific as always. Thanks Steve.

  • When you want to release something, you keep it firmly with you. Release is not an activity that you can practice. Releasing is not a activity, but stopping an activity that you hold on to.

  • It was also really nice to hear about your own personal journey/story with perfectionism.

  • @LulusLovelies whoops... i thumbed down your comment by accident lol.. feel free to thumb me down

  • Thanks again for a great vid. I am new to your channel, but I have been also trying to live my life along these lines for so many years - and yet, my ego keeps on creeping in through the back door! LOL.

  • Good one-just be past the ego mind.

  • Monkey mind you say? No wonder I crave bananas so often!

  • One thing that scared me but really helped me as far as becoming aware to a big extend was watching myself on video, while hanging out with friends. It is really observing the truth about your own behavior.

  • @namitsu1 That would be fascinating thing to watch - you are right! I should try it. Eek.

  • @namitsu1 Great practice for ego detection.

  • I attracted the making of this video! :D

  • Thanks! :D

  • Thanks for the vid Steve! Funny you mentioned the similarity to a video game... I was recently playing a game and kept getting blocked at this one section; I kept trying to go through and got frustrated because nothing worked. Finally I simply went AROUND the block, which turned out well! :)

  • Thank you for making the new video.

  • People today are paralyzed by cognitive dissonance. They are brain fogged by hypocritical leaders and cultural paradoxes.

  • Thankfully I've been able to notice my monkey chatter in my head years ago, and because of that I no longer look at myself as one-dimensional; I have many traits that range from shyness to social confidence. I am not an extreme personality or thought but rather a mix of them all and I can know how my emotions work and subside for the most part. For the emotions or thoughts I don't know how to control I strive to learn from them to become even more multifunctional.

  • U should apply for partnership man.

  • @12Oc7ock I am a partner.

  • love you!

  • ~loVe

  • Thank you man! I like your videos!

  • great vid!

  • You ever wonder if there is too much analysis and not enough execution?

There is too much thinking about the who what where why when how and not enough just doing things?

  • @batfly

I don't think it is bad to analyze. You have to know what your emotions are telling you. Are they giving you excitement or frustration? Are your emotions confused or focused? Knowing what state you are in will be the first step. The next step is using what ever state your in to get where you want to go. If you don't want to go anywhere then there is no need to analyze per say...

  • @batfly

...; however, if you want to go somewhere but are confound by an emotion then you need to learn how to use that emotion as motivation. You will know when your ready when your emotions tell you "I'm excited. I'm motivated. I'm ready and I want to proceed".

  • @batfly if u analyze correctly, u filter out all the stuff that doesnt matter, u automatically block out things that u normally would have stressed over. analyzing things is like doing push ups for the mind.. so long as u do it right. analyzing things is just part of consciousness. i think the problem with the masses is that they DONT analyze ENOUGH, they just carry out their pre-programmed life and wonder why they'r unhappy

  • @1nf1n1tyW1th1n Good analogy of doing push ups for the mind. That's why it's so exhausting to over analyze things.

  • @batfly Agreed. Over thinking keeps us trapped in our comfort zone and is a great procrastination tool.

  • Cheers for helping me reset my dials again! Thanks for the identification.
