  • I'm Commander Shepard and cocaine is my favorite drug on the Citadel.

  • Just played this while doing the last mission on ME 2 all i can say is EPIC

  • This remix should be in Mass Effect 3! Make it happen!

  • @Aenigmaa Yes in the alarm clock in shepards cabin no where els!

  • Amazing remix. Love this! Love the added voice's in there it's really cool.

Keep up the awesome work :D

  • But no matter what scars you bear

    Whatever uniform you wear

You can fight like a Krogan, run like a leopard

But you'll never be better than Commander Shepard

  • I think the the side mission - gathering system (described by Andy) would be a great idea. There are mercenary groups, big companies, and other interest groups, turians, asaris, salarians, batarians, krogans, quarians, even geths who could support our war against the reapers. I realy liked the Noveria mission in ME1, as I remember Saren was the main investor of several high tech firm, so in ME3 Shep. could do some business too.

  • Can I have a link to download this please?

  • amazing... a perfect mix of music and soundtrack

  • this sounds as cool as the original!!! it would be cool if it was on the game parties

  • Nice... Maybe not the best but very very good.

  • cool

  • I can totally imagine hearing this at a club somewhere on Omega/Illium/Earth. Please, BioWare? ^^

  • bad

    ass

  • 11 people are indoctrinated.

  • Stay tuned for the "Suicide Mission" remix. Almost done =)

  • @TheJiveDJ You just made my day a lot brighter. Thank you.

  • @TheJiveDJ

    Ur the man! Thanks

  • The quality of this piece of work is amazing. I remember playing it for some friends and they didn't get the point. Everything about this is great- the ambient synthesizer in the beginning the beat the character voices. Truly a classic tune.

  • Would be great if bioware actually added this homage into the 3rd game. Credits, in a bar , something. It's that good.

  • @TheREALSisko How about when Shepard accidentally takes DMT or LSD and starts seeing crazy visions of everything in his life from reapers to friends, to random worlds, extradimensional species, and hints of his death.

  • eeeeeeeh maybe? lol

  • 0:55 madd :)

  • Amazing!

  • I love everything about Mass Effect, Bioware, you beat hollywood at their own game when it comes to telling great stories.

  • Bioware should put this remix on while you're exploring and gathering resources in all mass effect games

  • They should remove resource gathering completely, and instead of the MAKO or scanning crap add black ops or something in ME3 - oh, and allow you to choose between Cerberus and the Alliance to decide the fate of the human race - we all know the Illusive Man has his own agenda. "I wanna promote the future of the human race". Cerberus, do something out of the goodness of their hearts? Bull shit. Anyway, Shepard actively and voluntarily intervening in Earth politics would be great. for ME3.

  • @AndyRaslan I think probably Bioware planning stg. like you imagined, if you play through ME2 DLC Arrival, in the debriefing with Admiral Hackett you can find hints about this.

  • @AndyRaslan

"and instead of the MAKO or scanning crap add black ops or something"

What the fuck does that mean?

  • @Kloborgg It means that the MAKO tank mechanic in ME1 and the scanning mechanic in ME2 were pure crap. They should instead add Alliance/Cerberus Black Ops or Special Ops to fill in the side-quest part and to gain money and resources - it would actually be fun, unlike having to scan my ass off for Element Zero (I play Adept).

  • @AndyRaslan

Well I realize and agree that the method of obtaining minerals was pretty crap, I just don't understand what you mean by Black/Special Ops. Do you mean secretive side quests to gain minerals? Personally I don't mind the idea of going and exploring planets, I would just like them to make it a bit more interesting than in ME1. Thresher Maws and Mako flips aren't my idea of fun.

  • @Kloborgg Special Ops and Black Ops are secret military operations that are of such sensitive or illegal nature that they must be performed outside of the public view, and are generally carried out by elite operatives.

Take this, for example. You have a night-time operation in which Shepard completely derails an Element Zero smuggling group while simultaneously wiping out a Batarian extremist group. Coincidentally, he gets a lot of money and Element Zero. Much better than the MAKO shit.

  • @AndyRaslan

I understand what Special Ops are.. it just seems like a really strange thing to suggest as a means of obtaining minerals. I do understand what you're saying though; making smaller side missions to complete in order to gain the resources. I still would like to see some sort of return to galactic exploration, though.

  • excellent.

  • Just friggin' amazing)

  • This is great. Despite the whole song's level of awesomeness, the "Say goodnight, Manuel" at the end CRACKED me up!

  • This should be the theme for Mass Effect 3.

  • AMAZING! You could definitely do an amazing mashup of a bunch of other ME tracks

  • Nice!

  • Jive,bring the hive!!!!

  • 'I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite remix on youtube'

  • @esco1444 Epic Friend T_T

  • I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel.

  • *screams* This store discriminates against poor people! >:[

  • Haha gotta love renegade Shepard.

  • Say goodnight manuel...

  • Gaymix :P kidding ...wrex make it more awesome lol....he has cool sound

  • I would have liked to actually of heard this in the game.. maybe like in the credits or something.

    Awesome!

  • @FHSChins i heard it too

  • wrex is awesome

  • u did..!

  • this guy is a mother fucking legend he needs to put music on ME2

  • AAAA !!!! MS 2!!! aaaa 50 day!!! left can't wait this song get me pumped

  • This song blows me away, they need to put it in the 2nd one.

  • yes! you used 'uncharted worlds' for the basis, what great track. nice job.

  • Somebody give this man a job! Makes me want to play the game for the umpteenth time.

  • man this totally kicks some major ass. this should be included in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I normally hate anything related to trance, but this track is awesome!

  • I recently completed the game like the tenth time something, and while I was at it I played this music during difficult combat scenes and if fits perfectly. :)

  • Loved it 2 years ago and still loving it right now <3

  • I love this remix man... great job on it. =) Also as far as the controls discussion, I think 360 controls are probably easier considering it was made for the 360. The controls are 9/10 times easier on the console a game was made for since...well, they made it with that console in mind.

  • I know what you mean. I used to play shooters like BF1942 on the PC, but it feels too much like clicking enemies to death.

  • This reminds me so very much of Tangerine Dream. As such, I love it!

  • wow im very impressed! nice work on the remix!! it sounds really great. keep that up, man!

  • bioware does great on its own but if they made a second trailer for mass effect 2 they should use this i guess

  • dude! fuck yeah! that's pretty cool! the original music is almost better but i still like the effort!

  • Hi this is JiveDJ (the creator of this remix). Thank you for all the positive feedback!

I finally decided tocreate an account to thank you all and tell you that I may do another one.

Go ahead and thow out some suggestions, I'll remix whatever you guys want the most.

  • @TheJiveDJ try making more amazing Mass Effect Soundtrack man! This is pure genius you have right here man.

  • @TheJiveDJ Good ass job dude. this video roxxorz my boxxorz. keep this up!

  • do the faunts ending song in the credits

  • @TheJiveDJ

Wait a minute, how did you made this song? With which software? I'm trying to goof around with Virmire Ride, but I have no clue with which software

    Keep it up son!

  • @TheJiveDJ try m4 part 1 it's been done by DVAS but i'd like to see a version you created.

  • @TheJiveDJ

Remix some of Mass effect 2 songs. If possible "The end run"

  • @TheJiveDJ hell yes yes yes yes....this is awesome, and is also in keeping with the spirit of the electronic music of the game

  • @TheJiveDJ Remix "Suicide Mission" please.

  • @AndyRaslan Already did, check my channel =)

  • @TheJiveDJ You want a suggestion, well here is one :) Try not to deviate too much away from the original soundtracks. Your remixes are very good, but maybe if they had just a bit more originality to them they would be better. Thats my opinion :) Good Luck and keep up the good work.

  • @Persason ...I'm a little confused by your statement. On one hand you suggest I remain more true to the original songs, but then you go on to say that my songs should have more originality (which actually means to be unique). Care to clarify?

  • @TheJiveDJ

Sounds like he is saying to not stray far from the original game soundtrack like he said. At the same time he thinks you could give it your own spin, but not make it hard to recognize it as mass effect.

  • This should be used in the previews/trailers as well. It's perfect for trailers/previews!

  • dude...

iv played ME over and over and over and over....

    and i have to say

this almost makes me cry,it is THAT good!

well done !!! keep up the good work

    Cheers!

  • this song is actually... REAL GOOD it really could be in the credits for ME2!!! Mass Effect rules!!

  • well the guy did a good job hope bioware uses this

  • I can't believe this is a remix lol :D It's way too unique to be 'remix' of something xD

  • My god... Its so... BEAUTIFUL.... definately Mass effect 2 usable :D

  • I have to say, I'm quit glad I played this game, it was a fresh expierience. And the very best game I've played in a long time.

  • ye they should use it as the credits tune its soooooo cool

  • No word to describe this object founded in the data base. A earthling would say: awesome.

  • Incredible.

  • very good remix, bioware really should use it in mass effect 2!

  • mint song mass effect rules!

  • Very nice indeed :o)

i also made one a while ago, not as good, but on my profile if you want a listen :o)

  • great music

  • They should use this somewhere in Mass Effect 2. Somebody call Bioware!

  • @Ariashal to late :D

  • Comment removed

  • fark this reminds me of when i was 16 listenining gatecrasher blue cd brings on very euphoric feelings as does the game :D

    10/10

  • Your the one they call sheperd.

  • Why?

  • cuz cake is a lie!

  • It all makes sense!

  • yet another one see's the light :)

  • lolz/rotfl

  • This is a great piece of music. This remix kind've reminds me of DJ Tiesto's music. The originals are pretty aswome too.

  • lol wrex sayin comander sheperd

  • Don't listen to gamerguy187 he will cause stupidity

  • Omg i just read what he wrote, not to sound like an offended geek or shit, but fucking hell, this got voted 2nd best RPG story of all time... one of my fave games... on 4th playthrough (which i never do for anything)... epic game

  • this game has one of the best stories ive ever heard.. LOVE this game.. this and fallout 3 are my 2 favs

  • Just letting you know, the yousendit link no longer works. Rapidshare's still good though. Great mix.

  • That doesn't have anything to do with the music fanboy. You should get roundhoused by Chuck Norris. When you act like that no one's going to listen to you anyway, constructive criticism would be a better way to go.

  • Great remix.

  • Freaking. Awesome. Music.

    Freaking. Awesome. Game

  • BioWare owns!!!

  • Sure. You keep telling yourself that Wii fanboy.

  • I mean gamerguy 187 is gay for saying that bioware is gay...

  • I remember this song posted on ME forums. Great remix.

  • ftw

  • KUDOS INDEED, KUDOS EXTREME!

  • Wow, very well made. Kudos to the creator.

  • it makes my hands move 6x faster... i love it!!

  • o_0

  • Wow, I usually would hate this kinda music, but thanks to that mass effect´s touch and inspirations is really cool to hear it! thanks for sharing

  • thanks JiveDJ, and thank you

  • that song was so good Im listening to it again

  • great music, suits the game

but what's wrong with the music at the moment?

  • on my 4th time round, someone help me!

  • -_- One of these days people will learn that it doesn't bloody matter - it's the same damn game.

  • I agree I've played both versions, and beat them both (the geek I am) and find very if little difference other than the item screens hacking and faster use of biotics/tech-powers

  • I actually found the PC controls a bit awkward for a Console player such as myself. But meh - im sure if you play on PCs you can do itbetter than I could ^_^

  • I have also played many other console versions on the PC (COD4, MoH Airborne etc) and found it to be the same, but I prefer a two joystick control scheme, I don't mind the PC version though. WASD works and is much better at strafing, but the 360 controller is made for the hand and is more comfortable. It's just up to player preferance.

  • Precisely - ive bought Oblivion for the PC and ive been using the Xbox controller for it - WASD and mouse to me feels really stiff and unatural. Yet I have PC players complain that it is TOO fluid.

  • Well maybe they could edit the sensitivity? I tried to play COD4 with an 360 controller on the PC but the stand/crouch/prone wouldn't work as well as it did on the 360 or with the keyboard.

  • Nah - they seem to go out oftheir way to prove that their £1500 computer is better than a cheap and cheerful console. That means if the sensitivity isn't just so from the outset then it's a god aweful console. *sigh* Some people just never want to listen.

  • Yeah, I personally like the 360 controller and it's a welcome relief from WASD I just wish some 3rd party company could make one that worked better for the PC as well....

  • COD4 is MUCH slower on the 360 than on PC, there's no way you can have anything like the kind of pace in an FPS like that using a gamepad. And before you ask, I have played both a lot ;) As for Mass Effect, the PC version has a slicker interface, but if you're a console player it probably doesn't make much difference :)

  • Having a good pc to run mass effect on is much more expensive than a 360, either way, I have both... lawl.

  • I have played cod 4 on the computer and its true...on a good gaming computer all FPS are better on the comp than on any game console.

  • easier to make more accurate shots but console is better for social playing, as in, with friends (co-op).... it goes PC easiest to control, 360 next easiest then, PS(1,2,3) as the hardest to control.

  • yea i agree with you there.

  • im going to have to disagree with you. In my oppinion 360 controls are easier.

  • For me the main theme for Mass Effect by Jack Wall is one of the greatest computer game compositions I've heard. Great credit to you for this remix which shows more than a lot of inspiritation. Shame it doesn't contain more of Hall's genius though. For me, his main theme for Mass Effect is the dogs.

  • This sounds pretty awesome, good job

  • there already making more mass effect cuz they already said it would be a trilogy just a matter if time

  • MT FIXE!!!

  • lol awsome

  • really nice job, i like it :)

  • Bioware make great RPGs.... They rarely create games short of perfection.. If Bioware make a KOTOR 3 i hope the combat is fully controllable like the combat in Mass Effect..

  • ive never played an rpg i always hated them i tried some of the morrow ind once but couldn't get into it. this is by far the greatest game since the first halo.

  • great work man u interested in audio production?

  • mass effect makes orphans with cancerous AIDS cry from joy.

    it's just that good.

  • Agreed!

  • couldnt have put it better buddy

  • WOW that is a really sad way to put it. Even though it is extremely true cause mass effect is like the best game ever. you could have been a little less harsh on the example.

  • i hope,Mass Effect2 will come out this year :)

  • i really dont care when Mass Effect2 comes out, just as long it is as good or better than this one, because mass effect was bad ass

  • Well, it's going to be extremely hard to top the first one.

  • I don't. Unless they after about 3-4 years of production brought it back in time.
