The Wings vs. Avs were always the best games. They were the top 2 teams for a long time and it wasn't just all the brawls that made this great. The quality of the hockey games were on a whole different level that the other 28 teams couldn't even come close to touching. Its a shame these days are over, after watching game 1, the new guys just don't have that spark that drove the rivalry. Maybe when Forsberg comes back, he and McCarty can teach the kids what it means to be in a Wings vs Avs series
