@pokerguy17 I have to disagree their is a wrong way to bowl. If your style can bring injury to yourself, others, or property is not right. On a related note, teenage guy and even adult males should not be throwing anything light enough to be cranking 20+ mph. The rule of thumb is throw a ball 10% your weight up to 16 lbs (standard max weight). That being, a 30 yr old male should not be throwing 8 lb balls.

Actually, there is a wrong way to bowl, and that's bowling in a manner that can risk injury to people, damage to the premises and/or damage to the equipment.

One example: a person using a VERY light bowling ball and trying to throw it with as much power as possible, only to succeed in launching the ball into the ceiling. Another, a person rolling more than one ball down the lane, especially if the second ball doesn't make it before the sweep comes down on the pin deck.
