My cats did the same thing with my answering machine. Took me a while to catch on and hide the machine from them in the drawer. So they took the phone off the hook instead. Would give me that "something happened today, but we didn't do anything" look. It was that "off the hook" noise again.

Oh My, that is Hilarious!!! I have never seen a kitty do that before!!!! And he really looks like he knows what he's doing!!!! You know they say "jolly" people are usually overweight? Well I think that counts for cats too. I find it so strange that I have one obese cat and one skinny cat, and they get the exact same food. My obese cat has quite the personality too. Always full of tricks and always hunting calories.
