my dad was a career naval officer in the Navy with top clearence to alot of classified information. One thing he did mention was that the U.S. government did make a few long high flying blimps with no other purpose than to decieve the public. In the early 60s up to the mid 80s there were alot of cigar shaped ufo sightings across America.To make the long story short,they made a few high altitude cigar shaped blimps to say "ya it was us" to distract from the real sightings.
