I don't get it. A night vision viewer, a confirmed "subject" in view, why keep putting the night vision down? Every time "it" moved, the night scope was "down"? Dude, if I had a scope on a bigfoot, it would be glued to my eye until it was gone. No pauses, no gasps, no over the shoulder comments. Solid eye lock until it was gone... What branch of LE allows urban earrings?
Night vision equipment ( but no video?). I believe that Vogan saw what he saw, but it seems a little odd that a presumed bipedal creature could move around so easily with so little noise. Also, the ability to throw a rock with such accuracy, in the pitch dark, through heavy foliage and still hit this guy in the shin...next to impossible.
Excellent debrief and now we no the rest of the story. The interviewee did not use the word bipetal instead he said footprints. Honest description to what they heard and none of the parroting which is normally used.
Great report Matt and Jason. Really glad to hear your IR illuminator didn't immediately chase them off, which has been suggested to be the case else where.
No video of this sighting? Why?? And why keep putting the night vision down during the sighting? Sketchy.
