  • which mixer was in use ?

  • This sound gave me nightmares and gas in the morning.

  • @VitalisCarbone You should take an antacid.

  • Nice funky programming on the MC-202 aswell. I know it can be a pain to get it to do what you intend to do :) Good job overall!

  • Hey you stole ny sound hahaha ... Love this video and your choice of gear is exactly what id buy if i had more money ...if you lived near me we would have to be friends Lol

  • How can anyone give this video a thumbs down... the dood built his own modular and it sounds damn fantastic.

  • coolest mood music award 2011 AmeriVision goes to Flizbee.... :)

  • is there a way to slave the TR yet still be able to access pattern mode - such as midi to sync from the MMT to the TR?

  • A current favourite - many thanks

  • @PerseusTraxx Wow cool thanks! I'm gearing up to do some new videos. Stay tuned.

  • Dude, why'd you stop!?

  • very sh 1 [rare item ...!! ]

  • great little groove there man. how many din sync cables did you use to make this?

  • @774434 oh I don't remember. prob 5 or 6 cables.

  • I watched this to see you`re MSQ-100-- BUT, I didn`t see it once... i feel so used..you owe me 4:29...and none of this, "I`ll gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today" shit !!

  • Wow, many analog device. Cool sound :)

  • @jackstrikergraphics thanks dood!

  • keep rockin, mate! nice tune!

  • @camargohugo thank you!

  • Great, you surely know how to use ur gear!

  • i love analog equipment..it doesn´t make u tired like software

  • Nice!

  • This is real legal dope FUCK MAINSTREAM!

  • Excellent!

Very unique sound. Keep rockin those synths.

    :) TSF

  • @TheSynthFreq Thanks, you guys rock too!

  • like to see people still sequencing with the mmt-8! i definitely put mine to good use these days.

  • @TheHevquip Yea it's so easy to use, and fun.

  • love the wobble coming from the sh1

  • analog rap

  • 3:23 please, release a mp3 :D

  • Sweet setup. What's sequences everything together? How are you sequencing the non-midi keyboards? Also, what program did you use for your video effects?

  • @freezazoid Thanks! Everything is mostly sequenced by the MMT8, except for the mc-202 (which is running on it's internal sequencer) and the modular is being sequenced by the Klee. I used Adobe Premiere for video editing and efx.

  • @synthdood : thanks for the reply... Quick question: If you're using different "clocks" to sequence after some time wouldn't they slowly get off of tempo from each other?

  • @freezazoid Nope I am only using one clock. The master clock is coming from the MMT-8. I am using the trigger out from the 707 to clock the Klee, and DIN sync from the 707 to clock the mc-202.

  • This is fucking awesome :D! please keep doing this.

  • good to see the separate outs used on the 707, that thing sounds like crap without some EQing. The bass drum sounds like a cardboard box, then you add some low boost and all of a sudden it gets huge.

  • How do you hook more than one device up to the MMT-8 at a time considering it takes a MIDI IN and MIDI OUT to sequence a normal synth...? I have an MMT-8 and many synthesizers and drum machines, and a patch bay, but I have yet to figure out how to sync it ALL to the MMT-8. Any Suggestions? Thanks.

  • Midi in and out from the MMT8 goes to a master synth. In this case the p600. Midi thru from the p600 goes to the 707. The midi out of the 707 goes to a Kenton that's controlling the sh-1. I use the DIN sync out of the 707 to control the mc-202. On the mmt8 you have to specify which midi channel you want to control per track.

  • Do you know how to hook multiple synths up though? I have a Poly 800 mkii with an IN and OUT, a Microkorg with an IN, OUT, and THRU, and a Casio VZ-10m with an IN, OUT, and THRU. Sorry for the pestering questions, you just seem to know what you are doing here.

  • What type of cable is used to connect Roland products? It kind of looks like quarter-inch?

  • well it depends. The sh-1 is 1/4", but the mc-202 uses DIN cables, the tr-707 uses midi and DIN cables.

  • imagine this 'beat' without the video.

and replace the title with 'new fl studio' beat. Im sure that this video would have 1 star and 1000 negative comments.

  • @sjmeerkees but this doesnt sound like FL studio

  • @sjmeerkees because some people are more intrested in creation process over a final product. there's nothing exciting about watching how someone is making a music in FL studio:P it's like watching a sex with a plastic doll;) even more boring lol

  • @sjmeerkees this 'beat' without the video probably would be a vinyl record playing on the dancefloor.

  • sick vid dood yr awsome nice set up

  • sweet vid, i also run an sh1

  • do you know of an inexpensive way to sequence that beast? or a simple way to convert midi to cv gate?

  • cool! but all very organic until the blippy beeps came on top, not my favourite

  • I will do nasty unspeakable things to get that hardware off you when you die.

  • dam dood!

  • Nice sick bassline!

  • thanks!

  • :-)

  • That Klee sequencer is real nice dude!!!

  • the sh-1 kinda ruins it I think

  • elaborate?

  • i agree

  • Not the the SH-1 is ruin it...... think!!!!!

  • I want these machines. :)

  • wicked bassline (202)

  • Long live vintage hardware!

What a show off ;) awesome!!

    Gear Freak!!!

  • yea, I'm a gear freak fur sure!

  • I'd Rhyme off that shit and name you the evil genius 4real be my producer

  • Very nice!

    5*****

  • roland sh's sound so great.

  • Excellent sound and video quality and nice editing. Great video showing the studio and your tune!

  • nice...

how are you using your mmt8 to control those non midi synths?

  • Im using a Kenton pro solo on the SH-1, and im using an MSQ-100 to control the MC-202. Im also using a KORG-DW8000 as my master controller to sequence everything on the MMT-8

  • well done.

good sounds. do you use a 4 chanel midi to cv ?

    i prefer step-sequencers ;-)

  • No just a one channel Kenton pro solo.

  • Very cool stuff!!
