I've observed this new diet plans regime known as DietOramy (search on google) - my grandmother said she begun utilizing this and already shed several lbs, without feeling famished or even weary whatsoever... what do you suppose, has any1 ever done it yet?
so im starting tomorrow. and im going to start from this video and watch all the others in order. my goal is to get to 160 pounds. last i checked i was 194 pounds. i love you shay and im going to do this.

Is it bad that I only eat 2 times a day and workout? Sometimes I feel like I loose more then I eat because my sleeping schedule is so messed up that I end up not eating much at night when Im ussualy awake

The first step was to cut 3 things: fastfood, soda and desserts
Step two-=Adding vegetables (fibers cut hunger)
Step three Exercice! (walking/bicycling/jogging 30mins a day)
Just by following these 3 steps i lose weight easily ,All you need to lose weight is to spend more calories than you eat. Don't give up guys! You can do this!!

Best diet is the type 2 diabetes diet it's how you're supposed to eat and its easy...3 meals and 3 snacks...15-30 carbs for snacks and 30-60 for meals...eating healthy and complex carbs is obviously better but I lost 100lbs eating frozen food and not that great food...also didnt work out but had a pretty active job

i just have an honest to goodness question ... what if you don't have anything to motivate you? like some people want to lose weight for a loved one or whatever ... what should i get to motivate me if i don't have anyone or anything i want to lose weight for?
I've lost 55 pounds over the last four months with simple portion control. I eat whatever I crave--everything from cheeseburgers to chocolate--but in much smaller quantities than I used to. For example, if I go to Burger King I might order a whopper and only eat half of it at one seating (along with a few fries and a diet soda). I've come to the conclusion that if I deprive myself of the foods that I crave the most, then any diet is almost certain to fail.
omg i loved your analogy!!! people get caught up in the exercise part and counting calories and they don't see the results cause they are worrying about it too much. there was one summer where i just cut out junk food. after a couple of weeks i lost a couple of pounds and began to see my stomach getting flatter. i wasn't counting calories or making sure that i exercised i just ate better.

When you said that carrots were high in sugar (before you said not to bother about it) I was munching on carrots and literally stopped chewing for a second :D
don't eat too many fruits. they're high in sugar. yes i went there. oh and if you're doing a vegetarian type of diet, protein powder would be very very beneficial, since that is something you won't be in-taking as much.
Hey Shay! I am doing a weight loss competition with a local news station here in Omaha. We have a site just for our competition, let me know if you want me to send it to you (YT won't let me paste it) I am also trying to vlog about it, but so far have really only gotten my weekly vlog for the station on my YouTube page. We can do this, one step at a time. That is what I keep telling myself, one pound at a time!! That is how we put it on, so that is how we will take it off. We can do this!!!
the best diet is carb diet. not kidding. the first week you can only eat at most 20 carbs. and when you start working out since your body barely has carbs to burn so it starts burning fat. i lost 10 pounds in the first week.
i have an app on my ipod touch and i enter what i eat and it tracks everything for me its easier, im also taking a tap class plus im in gym everyday. ive lost 12 pounds already

Sorry to be a bit of a food nazi but honestly the most effective way of losing weight is ironically the simplest and potentially easiest. Heres what you do:
1: Find out the amount of calories you're "supposed" to eat every day with an online calorie counter (Usually somewhere around 2300 but it depends on height and weight)
2: Eat 500 calories less than that amount every day. If you eat too much, excersize it off so that you'll always have around a 500 calorie deficit.

Fad diets dont work. People do them for a short time..see results..then quit. A good "diet" is one where you change your lifestyle of eating. Eat what you want..just control how much you eat of it. Portion control is (in my opinion) the best "diet" cuz it allows you to eat anything. I do portion control and calorie counting. Ive lost 12 lbs and I havent even stepped on a treadmill yet! Once you are used to normal portions..the rest is easy!

First of all, I'm not losing weight because I'm extremely skinny and on the verge of being underweight so i need to eat more and just get healthier in general, so i've stopped drinking coke and i only have one every three days or so. I get headaches all the time and i'm so sleepy now too. It's probably because I don't eat enough food so that's my goal and yeah... Healthier and more food.
I started back to the gym three weeks ago, and it feels amazing! I've been eating mostly fruit and lean meat, whole grain pasta, yadda yadda! I find the hardest thing for me is trying not to eat late at night! Anybody else have this problem, any suggestions? I'm on board with the Shayloss! yay!
I'm starting kinda slow, I stopped drinking pop January 31st. Headaches are starting to go away and I feel SO MUCH BETTER. Now I'm trying to find a way to exercise and enjoy it. I know that I love going hiking and being in nature, so I'm looking up local hiking trails. I've found some and I can't wait to get out there! I hate gyms, I get burned out way to fast and stop going. So I'm going to go slow and steady. I'm ready to do this and I'm glad I have your videos to help! Thank you!
You don't always have to think of it as a diet.....usually people end diets. Just think about it as eaing healthier or a way of life. Then it's not a diet...it's just a life change. For the better. Be healthy!

Watch the documentary called Food Inc. (Neftlix instant play) and you'll never want to eat crappy food again. It makes those foods not even tempting. At least for me. Lost four pounds in five days!
I have been working out for the past 2 years but recently I have joined Golds gym and I have been going every day for 2 or more hours a day I can't get enough of it. I'm so motivated and it's awesome. I am trying to motivate my friends as well to join in my new found love. I will NEVER diet therefore I will work harder because of that but it's ok by me. I've lost 55 pounds over the last four months with simple portion control. I eat whatever I crave--everything from cheeseburgers to chocolate--but in much smaller quantities than I used to. For example, if I go to Burger King I might order a whopper and only eat half of it at one seating (along with a few fries and a diet soda). I've come to the conclusion that if I deprive myself of the foods that I crave the most, then any diet is almost certain to fail.

omg i loved your analogy!!! people get caught up in the exercise part and counting calories and they don't see the results cause they are worrying about it too much. there was one summer where i just cut out junk food. after a couple of weeks i lost a couple of pounds and began to see my stomach getting flatter. i wasn't counting calories or making sure that i exercised i just ate better.
anything is possible :)

I'm on board started Monday 7th Feb. after years of overeating and laziness have decided to take plunge as i want to improve my health, motivation and body. I agree with wot you were saying, you just need to be sensible. I have started swimming and will move on to gym once get down a bit more. im enjoying the healthy food but struggle more with portion control. gonna enjoy following your progress

don't eat too many fruits. they're high in sugar. yes i went there. oh and if you're doing a vegetarian type of diet, protein powder would be very very beneficial, since that is something you won't be in-taking as much.

Hey Shay! I am doing a weight loss competition with a local news station here in Omaha. We have a site just for our competition, let me know if you want me to send it to you (YT won't let me paste it) I am also trying to vlog about it, but so far have really only gotten my weekly vlog for the station on my YouTube page. We can do this, one step at a time. That is what I keep telling myself, one pound at a time!! That is how we put it on, so that is how we will take it off. We can do this!!!

the best diet is carb diet. not kidding. the first week you can only eat at most 20 carbs. and when you start working out since your body barely has carbs to burn so it starts burning fat. i lost 10 pounds in the first week.

i have an app on my ipod touch and i enter what i eat and it tracks everything for me its easier, im also taking a tap class plus im in gym everyday. ive lost 12 pounds already

Hey shay ... You remind me so much of my dad in so many ways, even one of his favourite films was shawshank redemption! Sorry to be a bit of a food nazi but honestly the most effective way of losing weight is ironically the simplest and potentially easiest. Heres what you do:
1: Find out the amount of calories you're "supposed" to eat every day with an online calorie counter (Usually somewhere around 2300 but it depends on height and weight)
2: Eat 500 calories less than that amount every day. If you eat too much, excersize it off so that you'll always have around a 500 calorie deficit.
3: Keep it up & get fit

I think it's awesome that you're so on board with this! I just started watching your channels a few days ago, and i wish i would've started watching u sooner!haha Just wanted to say that anytime you're like "Eh, i don't think jogging would be good after kinect"or something to that effect, try to do it anyway. You'd be suprised of what you're actually capable of and you'll feel great after. You've got alot of muscle so that's really going to work to your advantage with burning fat.Best of luck :)

Fad diets dont work. People do them for a short time..see results..then quit. A good "diet" is one where you change your lifestyle of eating. Eat what you want..just control how much you eat of it. Portion control is (in my opinion) the best "diet" cuz it allows you to eat anything. I do portion control and calorie counting. Ive lost 12 lbs and I havent even stepped on a treadmill yet! Once you are used to normal portions..the rest is easy!

im 15 and i once was sitting in my desk in school and the desk collapsed in and im actually pretty muscular for my age but i have so much fat blocking it i hhope that ill manage to stick to this diet with you. and the REAL problem is that i HATE cardio soooo much! so i wanna join your battle shay.

you might enjoy michael pollan's book "an omnivores dilemma". it's a good read. also start walking vlogs. you're already in front of the camera x numbers of minutes per day, so take advantage of it. walk and vlog. it'll be awesome! kick phils a**!

Ugh I'm an ordinary 11 year old trying to lose some weight. I suck in P.E, even thought I have like an A in it. I'm trying to do more exercise, but I'll be honest It's hard. First of all, I'm not losing weight because I'm extremely skinny and on the verge of being underweight so i need to eat more and just get healthier in general, so i've stopped drinking coke and i only have one every three days or so. I get headaches all the time and i'm so sleepy now too. It's probably because I don't eat enough food so that's my goal and yeah... Healthier and more food.

I started back to the gym three weeks ago, and it feels amazing! I've been eating mostly fruit and lean meat, whole grain pasta, yadda yadda! I find the hardest thing for me is trying not to eat late at night! Anybody else have this problem, any suggestions? I'm on board with the Shayloss! yay!

I'm starting kinda slow, I stopped drinking pop January 31st. Headaches are starting to go away and I feel SO MUCH BETTER. Now I'm trying to find a way to exercise and enjoy it. I know that I love going hiking and being in nature, so I'm looking up local hiking trails. I've found some and I can't wait to get out there! I hate gyms, I get burned out way to fast and stop going. So I'm going to go slow and steady. I'm ready to do this and I'm glad I have your videos to help! Thank you!

Watch the documentary called Food Inc. (Neftlix instant play) and you'll never want to eat crappy food again. It makes those foods not even tempting. At least for me. Lost four pounds in five days!

I have been working out for the past 2 years but recently I have joined Golds gym and I have been going every day for 2 or more hours a day I can't get enough of it. I'm so motivated and it's awesome. I am trying to motivate my friends as well to join in my new found love. I will NEVER diet therefore I will work harder because of that but it's ok by me. I feel strong, I am not winded anymore, I am building muscle and eliminating fat. Good Luck Shay If I can lose 70 lbs you can too :)
