@penitentialarts I am not entirely sure what the situation with the rights is. The sheet music I used was with the Blitzstein translation, with a few choice lyrical cues written in. Copyrights are also less strict when it comes to cabarets, too--you don't have to purchase the rights to something to perform it in a cabaret environment. At any rate, Jeremy Sams was in the audience and he appreciated my performance. :-)
I had heard that the rights to this were in dispute. Are they finally letting people perform this version?
