wayzata was amazing don't get me wrong..but if i were one of the judges i would have totally picked maple grove because they are all so beautiful and tight and together on everything and i was just way more into there dance than wayzata's. they deserved first hands down!

wayzata won but both teams were phenomenal. between maple grove and wayzata you can count on 1st and 2nd in the state its just a matter of which team is in which spot. if you havent yet check out maple groves dance from a few years ago called dream on...best dance ever!

Just a personal opinion. I believe Maple Grove should have taken first over Wayzata. I live outside of Minnesota. Maple Grove was MUCH cleaner and their lines were completely stretched end to end... Wayzata was cool but very messy. Great job to both!

holy wow, if you guys got 2nd place, i can't even imagine how well the 1st place team danced. truly inspiring to watch all of you girls dance :) i'm excited because my team is finally doing jazz this year (we normall do pom, kick and hip-hop) but we're giving jazz a shot! :D we probably won't do too hot with it this year, but it'll be an amazing experience, especially if we can have a routine like this.

The difference is this----When you watched Wayzata's state dance, your eyes popped out of your head at how sharp it was! When you watched Maple Grove's dance, you get tears in your eyes. They make such meaningful connections to their music and dance--it is absolutely stunning. Outstanding, Maple Grove!

well after watching this and wayzata i would say it would have to be kinda close.

the excu. score must have been the same since both teams were pretty consist in performing, choregraphy i would say went to maple but technique i would give wayzata and i think the tech. score must've been high for wayzata since they showed alot of there talents.

but amazing job maple grove.
