great playing brother, really. i just cannot seem to hear any difference between a dual rec and a triple rec or find anybody that explain in simple terms the differences between a dual/triple. great sounds though.

The main difference is the dual is 100 watts and the triple is 150 which is total overkill if you ask me. The three channel recto sounds the same as the three channel triple to me. There's a greater tonal difference between the 2 channel and the three channel heads. The third channel has a greater presence range, meaning you can boost a lot more presence then you can on the 2nd. Get the 3 channel Dual, 100 watts is plenty!

@crazylocoguitar I think the fatness you mean is in his mix, the bass is pushing form the low end which makes it sound so thick

As far as I'm hearing it right Ola doesn't use so much bass, but a lot of mids on his amp the mid range makes the guitar sound so thick and present in the mix

@742617044427 i forgot i had my dual rec on "spongy" setting at the back.... i just put it to bold and it kicks so much more ass now, bold makes the sound well more bold, so i dont have to krank the treble and prescence as much to get that "crunch sound", allowing the bass to come out more..... just a little bit of tweaking always fixes your tone if you know what your doing lol
