@RonaldShaw You're talking about priorities?? The fuel that ignites the Indo-Pak issue came from the seed which was sown by the British.. And the America is not doing much to curb it... Its just funding Pakistan to maintain it as a US military base to reach Afganistan and the Middle East, as its done with Iran...And also it needs a strong Asian base against Russia.... And what does Pak do with all the funding?? Develop the country,NO..60 yrs n still in shams... It just breds terrorists..

LOL yeah and I know people in USA who don't vaccinate their kid. wtf. How it spreads is rather a mystery so if someone who has it gets on a plane from different part of the world and you're not vaccinated what do you think will happen? Personally I think that's child abuse.

Polio affects the nervous system. So different people are affected to different degrees. I met a guy in his 20s about 10 years ago. He said he contracted polio after a visit to Italy. in his late teens. if you met him you would not guess he had polio. I met a gentleman from Belgium, He was about 60 10 years ago. I am a polio survivor. I contracted it in 1971. Doctors I meet wonder how I contracted polio in Singapore as it was eradicated by then. Do we really know what eradication means?

user phonziee r u from the americas , true fact polio was eradicated in americas by 1991. it is a disease that causes a person to become crippled or something like that .Its takes two drops of vaccine which is "FREE" from government ,still some parents insist on not taking their children for vaccine and children end up having this disease. Health workers have to go door to door to ask parents if their children have got the vaccine .

Keep your Christian guilt trip to yourself. The Indian government spends US$18.9 billion on their military and Pakistan spends US$18.2 billion on theirs. They have the resources to solve this problem themselves, they just need a better sense of priorities.
