I tried that with food coloring exactly the same. It makes your hair really sticky. You have to do it with the liquid color withoutsugar.

@SupportMeLoves it does not, you can try but i have blonde highlights, i tryed it and when i put blue on my bangs (blonde part) it seemed to work, but it got mixed in with the brown hair and slighly turned purple&blue haha i hope im not confusing you, i saw many people try it on lighterbrown hair and it worked, best way to find out is to try! :)
