I loved the first one so much more. The second has fine graphics and is very polished, but I don't think it has the replay value of the first. Plus, they forced you to play on Hardest Difficulty if you want to keep your old levels. That isn't fun for me.

By the way the original Venom was in fact Eddie Brock after Spider-man rejects it in the comics, Mac Gargan was years later.. at least you can change costume in game, Eddie Brock was really the best Venom. :D

There's nothing groundbreaking about this game, but if you like action/beat'em up RPG's and are into the Marvel universe, you might find it a good buy.

i agree from what i see its def not gorundbreaking but I'd say it's worth it. Theres a few steps in the right direction esp when compared to mua. I plan on geting this next thursday.
