That is complete crap. I used Windows OS on different machines for 7 years and all it did was crash; I bought a Mac and now I can go from 5 different applications open, save them, and shut down my Mac in under 10 seconds. The only programme that crahes is Windows Live Messenger, ironically...
besides, I can just run parallels now that my MacBook pro has a quad-core and outperforms most any consumer level tower. all I ever use windows for now is a .net test server, ms visual studio, and pr0n. all visual, audio, editorial etc work is only done on my mac.
Oh and restarted without any reason about 3 times in 2 years. No problem, no silly 'i dont know what to do' msgs. And im working on it happily. So why Mac sux?

I have a pretty new Macbook, and I hate it with all my soul. It is on the floor right now, next to me, probably enjoying the CD of my favorite game that it just ate. It feeds on my files, discs and hatred for it.
Have you actually ever used a mac? I mean seriously NONE of this is true. I have a MAC and a PC. The only thing I use PC for is games. MACs are faster, more stable, easier to use, more aesthetically pleasing and just generally a joy to use. My major gripe with Windows is how slow it gets after a few months, and even with a good reg clean, spybot remover, virus scanner and firewall it still gets infected.

no viruses are made for macs simply because of how small the market is. make a virus for a windows computer and pocket from 90 percent of pc owners who run windows, or make a virus for a mac and pocket from the 10 percent of pc owners who run osx. the choice is clear.

The keyboard is just an excuse to not copy pc, and the mouse just drives me nuts and bolts! It doesnt glide smooth like a pc mouse, and if i try to right-click, it automaticly left-clicks just because the damn two buttons have to be covered by a single piece of plastic! WHO DESIGNED THIS THING???
My problem with Macs isn't the software (although if i needed to use it i would get a hackintosh), and i don't really hate the hardware either (they do make some pretty nice computers). The reason i hate Mac is because they take advantage of there users. Mac charges $800 for a 24" screen ($300 on Newegg), $100 for a second DVD drive ($20 on Newegg) and $700 for a raid card (today this is integrated into most motherboards). Maybe i would buy a Mac if i didn't feel i was being taken advantage of.

@MacbookPro726, the only problem with this is that PC's can also be lower that what he quoted. Example, I got an i7 based pc faster than their $2000 i7 based imac. It cost me $730 and could render video and everything else a lot faster. And blew the doors off their $1600 core2duo imac. I also could do one with 2 physical cpu's 12core, for around $1100-$1400 and it will be faster than apples top end pro. Proof is even hackintosh outruns apples offering, but I prefer windows 7 any day.
as for the name, who wants to pay for just a name? I don't. I could see it if it did something special for me but it doesn't. I have a studio, and also video editing setup and so far there is nothing that having that name will help me with that's worth that. Not to mention, for that kind of money I can line up 2 or 3 of these PC's to let them work on any project in pieces and they will do far more work. I don't like slow...

@android927 Okay, i was wrong. I redid the process on apple.com, and a Mac Pro thats a bit worse than my current computer costs $2,974. I chose a Radeon 5770 as the graphics card, which is far worse than my GTX 285, because the other option was a 5870, which is much better than what i have. I also had to select two crappy 18x DVD drives; my machine a 24x DVD drive and a 16x Blu-ray drive. Also, that $2,974 price tag does not include a monitor or speakers; my superior system was $2500 all-told!
I haven't had files suddenly disappearing....I CAN'T REMOVE FILES..it's growing like a damn tumor. Because unlike with a pc you can't delete it through the system map...you just have to throw it in the bin...and sometimes it says 'NAH I AIN'T GOIN IN THAR!' without any given reason.....
Plus the mangina at the side of my mac is a horror. If it doesn't recognise a cd...you can't get the effin thing out and there ain't no external button! I get jolts of electricity from my keyboard..and more
@Laroling the mangina thing gave my CD SCRATCHES. The thing was about a week old and without good reason while rendering videos it whines about having not enough RAM while it HAS enough ram and I haven't even clogged the thing with my mess yet. I CAN'T UPGRADE THE DAMN THING so I'm stuck with this thing that really cost what I earn in a year (I'm a poor student!) even with discount.

If you watched this video more carefully, you can see from the quality that its slightly older. Also see the mac he kicks and throws around, these are all old macs, and not the new intel based ones. Unfortunately, until apple introduced the intel onto their platform macs where inferior to pc's, not only from a processing perspective, but nothing really worked on a mac. Since intel was introduced, apple significantly improved their pc's, and osx leopard was the first good os produced by them!
@iYetti before osx leopard, all the other os's where limited to what they could do. They just were not as good as windows, or even linux if you configured it properly. Apple learned a lot ( From microsoft as well! ), a lot of things are done better, and apple has only recently become a major player in the PC industry. This guy doesn't know his dick from his sister's titty... Mac Pro are #1 Apple makes computers and software (Final Cut Pro) is the professionals choice.... Mac's NEVER crash even run Microsoft software better than any PC.

@atightseal Technically, a Mac is a PC. The definition of a PC is any computer with a micro processor that is designed to be operated by only a single user. Actually, you're probably right, because i opened up a Mac once and it had a gerbil running on a wheel where the micro processor should have been.

Can we just all get along? People like Mac because it is made for art and some gaming. PC is made for HUGE gamers and number crunchers. Can't we all get along? And don't you see at the end that it is COMEDY. It is supposed to be funny. And also we have Linux. And I don't even know how to spell it! So if you hate the both, use the third. He says if your doing editing your working on a mac. The funny thing is you don't even have to do that. There's a lot of VERY good editors for windows 7. And lots of great videos made on youtube were done under 7. The video cows&cows&cows is just one example. That said, there's very little reason to get a mac, unless you just worship apple and want something slower and pricey. Apple does almost win the smart phone game however. (for now as they are ahead)

macs suck dell sucks HP sucks make it simpler if you buy a computer already built it will suck no doubt about it building PC's from the motherboard up is the only way to go never had a problem with my computers and i built them. ALL my family's computers (I.E. dell im always fixing (X_X)

I have a pretty new Macbook, and I hate it with all my soul. It is on the floor right now, next to me, probably enjoying the CD of my favorite game that it just ate. It feeds on my files, discs and hatred for it.
It grows more powerful by the day.

Have you actually ever used a mac? I mean seriously NONE of this is true. I have a MAC and a PC. The only thing I use PC for is games. MACs are faster, more stable, easier to use, more aesthetically pleasing and just generally a joy to use. My major gripe with Windows is how slow it gets after a few months, and even with a good reg clean, spybot remover, virus scanner and firewall it still gets infected.

@TheBridie93 ah yes, I always thought that was a CD :). That does happen occasionally but it always sorts itself out. I always used to mock my friend for his love of MACs but now I understand how great they are. Ah I suppose both Windows and Mac have their good and bad points but I prefer my Macbook. Just a personal choice really

no viruses are made for macs simply because of how small the market is. make a virus for a windows computer and pocket from 90 percent of pc owners who run windows, or make a virus for a mac and pocket from the 10 percent of pc owners who run osx. the choice is clear.

I guess putting a giant fruit on the top of mediocre electronics/electronics that have the same amount of use as any other... and over pricing them satisfies today's teens and young adults. Oh well! It is 2010 if teens and young adults don't waste their money buying electronics they'll use it on porn haha. Though, I'm faithful to my PC's :)

I dont really hate the Mac computer, but GOD i hate the keyboard and mouse!
The keyboard is just an excuse to not copy pc, and the mouse just drives me nuts and bolts! It doesnt glide smooth like a pc mouse, and if i try to right-click, it automaticly left-clicks just because the damn two buttons have to be covered by a single piece of plastic! WHO DESIGNED THIS THING???

My problem with Macs isn't the software (although if i needed to use it i would get a hackintosh), and i don't really hate the hardware either (they do make some pretty nice computers). The reason i hate Mac is because they take advantage of there users. Mac charges $800 for a 24" screen ($300 on Newegg), $100 for a second DVD drive ($20 on Newegg) and $700 for a raid card (today this is integrated into most motherboards). Maybe i would buy a Mac if i didn't feel i was being taken advantage of.

@MacbookPro726, the only problem with this is that PC's can also be lower that what he quoted. Example, I got an i7 based pc faster than their $2000 i7 based imac. It cost me $730 and could render video and everything else a lot faster. And blew the doors off their $1600 core2duo imac. I also could do one with 2 physical cpu's 12core, for around $1100-$1400 and it will be faster than apples top end pro. Proof is even hackintosh outruns apples offering, but I prefer windows 7 any day.

as for the name, who wants to pay for just a name? I don't. I could see it if it did something special for me but it doesn't. I have a studio, and also video editing setup and so far there is nothing that having that name will help me with that's worth that. Not to mention, for that kind of money I can line up 2 or 3 of these PC's to let them work on any project in pieces and they will do far more work. I don't like slow...

1) A mac pro thats AS GOOD AS my computer is $5000 (that means customize so its better than the basic level one).
2) I built my computer for $2500, so its STILL less expensive than the $2990 basic level mac pro.
3) Define software storing device? I can store software AND do other stuff on my computer (i have a 2TB RAID 0 array).
ANY computer you can buy (by any brand) is not as good as a custom build of the same price (just wanted to throw that in there).

@android927 Okay, i was wrong. I redid the process on apple.com, and a Mac Pro thats a bit worse than my current computer costs $2,974. I chose a Radeon 5770 as the graphics card, which is far worse than my GTX 285, because the other option was a 5870, which is much better than what i have. I also had to select two crappy 18x DVD drives; my machine a 24x DVD drive and a 16x Blu-ray drive. Also, that $2,974 price tag does not include a monitor or speakers; my superior system was $2500 all-told!

I haven't had files suddenly disappearing....I CAN'T REMOVE FILES..it's growing like a damn tumor. Because unlike with a pc you can't delete it through the system map...you just have to throw it in the bin...and sometimes it says 'NAH I AIN'T GOIN IN THAR!' without any given reason.....
Plus the mangina at the side of my mac is a horror. If it doesn't recognise a cd...you can't get the effin thing out and there ain't no external button! I get jolts of electricity from my keyboard..and more

@Laroling the mangina thing gave my CD SCRATCHES. The thing was about a week old and without good reason while rendering videos it whines about having not enough RAM while it HAS enough ram and I haven't even clogged the thing with my mess yet. I CAN'T UPGRADE THE DAMN THING so I'm stuck with this thing that really cost what I earn in a year (I'm a poor student!) even with discount.

@Laroling I can't get a good hold of what my mac actually contains....everything is there but not really there, suddenly it whines about something I already installed while I'm sure I removed that version a few weeks ago....and when I search for it in my folders I can't find it at all. If you watched this video more carefully, you can see from the quality that its slightly older. Also see the mac he kicks and throws around, these are all old macs, and not the new intel based ones. Unfortunately, until apple introduced the intel onto their platform macs where inferior to pc's, not only from a processing perspective, but nothing really worked on a mac. Since intel was introduced, apple significantly improved their pc's, and osx leopard was the first good os produced by them!

@iYetti before osx leopard, all the other os's where limited to what they could do. They just were not as good as windows, or even linux if you configured it properly. Apple learned a lot ( From microsoft as well! ), a lot of things are done better, and apple has only recently become a major player in the PC industry. Look out, the mac era is about to come back, microsoft better watch their back! If microsoft doest come up with revolutionary ideas soon, macs will take over! Yes, i own a mac!
