@TheOnlyGreed That is normal. You have to time your jumps fairly precisly to jump just as you hit the ground. Binding jump to the mousewheel helps a lot as well.

For kids who are confused, this was before the cs 1.3 patch, on steam now you play version 1.6... so you haven't been able to bunny hop like this in a long time (unless it's a bhop mod server, even that's not the same though). Oh how I miss the days of cs 1.3 through 1.5 :[

Most players who were playing and bhoping in CS were playing quake 1 and in quake 1 multiplayer it was mandatory to learn bhoping and it uses the same bhop technique because HL is running on modded quake engine.

Quake 1 was epic because bhoping took a lot of skill unlike quake 2,3, live and 4.

Looks like most of these kids haven't even seen CS 1.0 ....

1.0, 1.1, 1.2 you could bunny hop as the video shown here.

1.3 fixed it but still could do but  backword only.

1.4 you could hardly jump at all.

1.5 was not able to bunny hop like the video either.

Steam came out with 1.6 and what you see Bhop nonestop is what you most of kids know... done by script. Still, they are not even faster than just running.

You can actually find bunny plugged servers and do bunny even without skill to do so.
