  • Same shit's happening over here in the US, except for the part about the countries losing their rights to the EU. That's been happening here since just about the beginning. The states were supposed to be sovereign entities because it has been known for millenia that democracy starts to break down on large scales, yet the Federal government grows under every administration.

  • What do you thank ?

  • This is one "coherent" video. =p

  • I VOTE LABOUR

  • UKIP government = slavery

  • @188basstrom Labour/Conservative/Lib Dem government = slavery, treason, corruption, subversion, pervertion of justice, miscarriage of justice, travesty of justice, maladministration, ultra vires, malfeasance, tax fraud, tax evasion, terrorism, warmongering (as in waging a war based on a lie), missappropriation, espionage.

  • I remember watching these videos back when I was a bit of a neocon and thought this guys was an idiot. Luckily I was curious enough to spend the time researching the contradictions I kept noticing in my arguments. Long story short, I am now a libertarian and realize how foolish I was. I wish only that others would find interest in knowing the truth rather than eating up the "noble lies."

  • @anryth Welcome to the light. We like and want you here. :D

  • wow! powerful!

  • GUN RIGHTS IN THE UK!

  • @DoctorBlissphd Hell yeah! Gun rights for Britain & NI!

  • Vote UKIP

  • The power of the EU alarms me, but is the UKIP really looking out for ordinary Brits? Judging from what I've read on wikipedia, their economic and environmental stances are decidedly centre-right.

I'm not British, but my guess is ordinary Brits don't want corporate tax-cuts, school vouchers, and nuclear power. Is that direct democracy?

  • UKIP is just a Single-Issue party there's no point what's so ever of voting for them.

I they were ever elected in we would only have a referendum on the EU which the British people would vote to stay in the EU anyway.

    VOTE CONSERVATIVE!!!

  • @epdavies100

Are you kidding me, have you seen the polls on what people think in the EU in Britain.

Also if you look at the UKIP manifesto you will see how different they are.

Voting Tory, labour and to be fair now lib dem. Is just a wasted vote of another party which will never change the country. The house of commons need to be refreshed, it is so corrupt in aspects of war and banks that only a new party would sort it out.

  • wish you would read up on the bilderberg group, the leaders of the 3 main parties are all associated with this elite group of people.

  • @pigeonpsycho Amen to that. Labour, Conservatives and Liberal Democrats are different by name only. They all want to keep people in the dark about smaller parties and they all support the UAF hypocrites who attack people with different views. They all want mass immigration and EU integration. UKIP for the win!

  • @pigeonpsycho

WOW, UK politics are a lot like American politics

  • thanks pat once again

  • @Packerd01

Thanks Packer. There have indeed been thousands more attacks by Islamists on their own and others, however, when this is pointed out to Moslems, they invariably get their back up and peddle out the usual, "Oh, but these aren't real Muslims", which is rather ironic considering the repeated exhortations to convert-or-kill jihad in the Qur'an.

  • Support socialist workers party! Fuck UKIP!

  • yes

  • not sure why condell associates 'tolerance towards muslim irritants' as multiculturalism and give multiculturalism a negative connotation? multiculturalism is too generic a term to be used in this context. anybody against multiculturalism is just a fool because it is the natural course of evolution of human species.

  • democacy died in 1997

  • double ended bible bullshit.go left smacked go right smacked go middle they hope to drink you for an eternity.

the bible was written as a double edged sword to gain slaves from logic.

Christ comes with his own 2 edged sword to oppose physical bullies and literature bullies.

otherwise survival of the fittest will rule and end sharply.

  • As if British government is in any way more democratic than, say, Danish. Yeah, right. All the things he says about EU politicians was true about UK before the Union was formed. I guess he's just upset UK won't be an empire ever again.

  • @KnifeSalt, Never?

  • Comment removed

  • @itsayellowfig I agree that neither of us are really giving a proper argument about anything.

  • @itsayellowfig I won't justify myself, because I agree I've said nothing. But in all fairness, you haven't said anything of note either.

  • Vote UKIP for a free democratic Britain, out of the EU.

  • Wow. A UKIP voter. Do you read the Daily Mail as well?

  • "The two main parties have been bought and paid for by the corporations and have done nothing for the people in decades." That's right. This video applies to the US as well as Britain.

  • VOTE BNP!

  • I voted for no one. No one seems to be the best party.

  • Do you think it's time for the west to try direct democracy on a large scale? People defend representation because: A) representatives are supposed to be more informed, although that doesn't seem to be the case, B) It would be too hard to hold elections about every law, although modern technology can solve that, and C) Mob rule can thwart individual liberties. Alright, that last one seems legitimately scary.

  • I would liken the EU more to the old Holy Roman Empire.

They were both the biggest bureocratic piles of crap of their time.

In both the people were given promises of new wealth and representation.

the HR ended up being an inefficent merged state in wich there was no representation and the aristocracy ruled over as gods (something that the pope warred with them quite a few times)

Also have to point out that many of the lords butchered entire towns just for being incontent.

  • And this is the path that te EU has set for its member nations. And with the Lissbon treaty, the way out just became alot harder

  • sounds like hes talking about the USA....:( sad as hell over here too.

  • Small parties are weak and would instantly fail under the actual challenge of government, ukip is as full of shit as they all are

  • I live in Asturias, a Northern region of Spain. The two "big" parties here are the so-called PSOE ("socialist" - bullshit, they're center-right-wing) and the PP ("populist" - center-a-bit-more-right-wing than the others).

People were fed up with their shit, and we had elections 3 days ago. Guess who won? A NEW regionalist party, created specifically to rip PSOE and PP's 30-year-long corrupted government out of the ground from the roots and starts with a new, clean sheet.

    Learn from that.

  • @Owneador1337 Oh wait. I just realized that by this man, my country is part of the P.I.G.S.

Fuck off. You get what you deserve.

  • Comment removed

  • what he says is so true. I feel exactly the same way

  • Pat I think the UK is too into TV and football to care about this! :-(

  • I thought he'd back the BNP...but I voted UKIP in cornwall...

  • UKIP?

  • Pat for vendetta!

  • democracy in a country whit monarchy?

    I don't belive you

  • britain... great britain! was an empire built by slaves - I don't think it's such a bad thing to lose such an identity...

  • While I wholeheartedly disagree with your political views, I see your point. I, however, believe that the EU has been beneficial to Britain although I agree that the EU's grasp certainly needs to be loosened. In the next election (I was too young to vote in the last one), I am unsure who to vote for but I have these rules:

I will never vote for a right wing party... ever.

Nick Clegg is a liar, even though I previously supported him.

    David Cameron is a twat.

Red Ed appears to be a communist.

    :0

  • First off imma fuck ur bitch ass daughter, your other daughter, your son, your grand son, your grand daughter, your dog, your wife and then your dead mother, while your father watches

  • Sadly you wasted your time Pat.

Millions of utter, brainless morons still voted Labour despite the immigrant infested mess that this country is in. These cloth capped wearing idiots are only interested in their next fag and their next pint of beer.

  • I don't think politics is your strong suit Pat. With you on the anti-religion tirades but Britain will never be ruled by independents and I very much doubt that all those aristocratic vested interests in the UK desire to lose their autonomy to the European Union. Also the EU has been the voice of the little man in many a legal wrangle. I really think that you should reconsider your standpoint. Love the channel by the way. And hate to leave a negative comment

  • "If you vote for any of the three main parties, democracy will fail" - What a prediction! Peoples voices don't count anymore. The scale of protests recently has been larger than i've ever seen before, and STILL nothing is being done.

  • I like your the majority of your videos very much. I wish I was able to speak as fluently as you.

  • I just saw an interview with Nigel Farage and am now a fan of the UKIP. I knew Pat Condell was clued on when it comes to religion, but now I know he's also clued on when it comes to politics.

  • The EU isn't exactly a democracy, is it.

  • This is such a good video...probably Pat's most powerful. I'm from the US and this could just as easily apply to us. People need to break free of the Left/Right paradigm here in the States...it's killing our country. The two main parties have been bought and paid for by the corporations and have done nothing for the people in decades. They are 2 sides of the same coin working together and taking turns fucking us all over..and the sad part is we could easily do something about it and we don't

  • I am a Christian but I love this guy! If he ran for US president I would vote for him. Any religion like Christian,l Islamic or atheistic communists/socialism always is oppressive and brings in a jabba the hut nightmare of a government. GO PAT!!

  • @agnostaxian

Would you mind please not lumping atheists with communists and socialists? Christians have started many wars, engaged in compulsory conversions and worked cap in hand with slavery and genocide. Both Islam and Judaism have an unhappy association with bigotry, exclusion, persecution and terrorism. Communists and socialists too, have an legacy of starting wars, engaging in subversion and fomenting rebellion, yet NOT ONE war has been started in the pursuit of atheism.

  • @brokenscimitar my point is that any ideology can become oppressive coupled with massive government control. are atheists like pat, you and thomas paine for mass murder and oppression? no. i am a christian libertarian who loves freedom of thought and speech. islam is the biggest obstacle to that today with death for apostasy, dhimmi laws and wanting to restrict freedom against their religion in every way. can we agree on that? freedom is key, pat gets that, that was my point

  • @agnostaxian

We certainly do agree on that.

"Thought and speech and writing should be as free as the wind. There is no opinion so sacred that it ought not to be ridiculed and opposed. If it be rooted in truth, it will triumph over ridicule and opposition; if it be rooted in falsehood, let it perish quickly."

Australian newspaper editor Alfred G. Stephens (1865-1933).

  • @brokenscimitar dude, u should run for president here in the usa, i would vote for you. seriously. freedom must be cherished and defended every generation from tyranny. this generation is going to deal with religious tyranny, especially in europe but just like u guys dealt with hitler, u will overcome this new facism

  • @agnostaxian

Agno, thank you, that is one of the greatest compliments which I've ever had! I've been to your country a few times and love it over there. Great people, really friendly, and am sad that things have gone so wrong.

  • Lol that's damn right, elections are always just a choice of a douche and a turd.

  • @Cruuzie

    Yay, a South Park reference.

  • I remember how relived we all were back in 1997 when we got rid of the tories. Then the fiasco began, with Labour lies and murderous self serving rulings........Then what happened? The godammned tories are back.... If that is not the epitome of stupidity I don't know what is!

  • Refreshing and well worth listening to.

  • @dolesponger Are you being funny?

  • Labour funded Black Only School Trips.

You'll notice however that there was no outcry; the worst it got was:

"This is dangerous territory for schools to get into."

    from a Tory MP

Yet if someone says homosexuality isn't normal* or suggests that one ginger man is a rodent there is insane outcry or the twisting of what was ACTUALLY said or meant.

The ginger rodent remark was offensive to rodents, and no-one else.

*Normality: Lack of significant deviation from the average

  • @CLLupin, In an Insane World, a Sane Man appears to be Aberrant.

  • You know that '75% of our laws come from the EU' is complete balls, right?

  • Check out Chicago Pat, them "wankers" are getting ready to elect an Israeli citizen as thier mayor LOL

  • What you want is a referendum on everything. That worked out horriblly in California.

  • FREEDOM

  • BRAVO, Pat Condell! From a fellow atheist here in America! I am a Green Party member and vote Green, Socialist, Communist, a few times Libertarian, each and every election. And, if there is none of these candidates on the ballot for a particular office, I write my own name or that of my friends in. I have no pity, no sympathy, for anyone who keeps giving power to Republicans and Democrats

(or Republicrats and Demopubs, as they should be called).

  • Pat Condell for president!

  • @AmerikaBlue If I wasnt an atheist I would pray for that! )

  • Always appreciated Condell due to his videos on religion. This one, however, was the one that truly made me admire and respect him.

  • We are also having that problem in the States with the Democrat and the Republicans. That is way I am voting for third parties. The two big main parties do not act like they care. I here it is Bush's fault or Oboma's fault, however, they are both incompetent. And if Oboma dose not win then the Democrat will see it as a minor set back. And for all we know they are all in the same circle.

I agree with you vote small think big.

  • satan will not go against satan.,so you won,t see athiests against muslims, tarot cards, wiccan, hindu etc etc etc.

if they are they might want to get saved.

spirit war not a flesh war.

  • @mickwillie1, You might want to Grow a Brainstem.

  • Sadly, the unelected tyrannical religious Elite will have their way whether we want it or not.

Lest we're enslaved, its time to end this cancerous rule and do away with the evil men who serve not the greater good.

If we're made expendable, our sovereignty handed to bin man, why extend care and support to these bloody cowards rather than simply disposing of their hostile takeover once and for all?

If we cannot end our own enslavement, we deserve no more freedom than what crumbs they leave behind.

  • @xlr8up, What do you suggest be done?

  • @InfidelArmee

I dunno, got any ideas yourself?

  • @xlr8up, Put the windows out of the Churches.

  • UKIP!! HA HA HA!

    You silly old fucker!!

There's more chance of Anne Widdicombe winning Miss World than crappy little UKIP winning an election!

  • @SaholySex Why? UKIP can get one or two MP in the next election. Of course they wont "win" and get 40% but the can still change things if they get 2 MP:

  • I feel a little bit better about living inAmerica.

  • @AmericanGuy7654

Don't be, it isn't that much better.

  • @TheDarkLighter0, Yes it is. It's All Downhill from here.

  • In Canada, the leader of the opposition, never had a leadership vote. He was anointed. We have had no opposition since...

UK's system looks more 'active' in participation than Canada..

  • This guy has those pervert glasses he must be a pervert !

  • UKIP is kind of crazy, are you sure that one's actually alright? or are you thinking along the lines of "the lesser evil" in which UKIP has the least amount of poison in it? lol

  • @AdorIslam

Your profile page says that Islam is the religion of peace. Really? Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan, Iraq &c are amonst the most dangerous places on earth. Killings by Islamists of anyone, other Moslems included, happen daily in the name of Islam.

  • @brokenscimitar

Yemen is NOT dangerous country you ignorant fool. All the other countries you mentioned are in war in some way or the other, mostly caused by the west.

Iraq is a secular country and has been for a while, and the violence there is mostly sectarian.

    nhhhh

  • @NorthCitySider

Sure, dickhead, Yemen is the world's newest, sparkling, Club Med holiday destination. All the bombings, shootings, piracy on the Red sea, warlord bandits, extortion, beatings, female genital mutilations are just harmless parodies performed by fun loving local Moslems with plastic guns for gullible Western media. Ooops, sorry, I forgot, you'd call it Jewish controlled, Zionist media.

  • @brokenscimitar

Are you kidding? Yemen is one of the least dangerous countries in the world. Stop looking to CNN and FOX news for all your answers and you'll find what I'm talking about.

Those things that you mentioned are much more common in Saudi Arabia than Yemen.

  • @brokenscimitar America and Britain kill in the name of democracy. So what is the difference? America doesn't even have full democracy when you think about it, the land of the free? Since 9/11 Americans have been no more free than your monthly gas bill. The patriot act just proves how gullible America is.

  • @liamo345

Hijacking and destruction of 3 Swissair planes by Moslem terrorists occurred 1970, massacre at Munich Olympics by Moslem terrorists occurred 1972, US Embassy Tehran hostage seizure 1979, Achille Lauro piracy in 1985, Lockerbie bombing 1988, American warship USS Cole attacked by Islamic terrorists in 2000, 9/11 occurred in 2001, beheading of Daniel Pearl & 2x Bali bombings 2002, but the invasion of Iraq wasn't until 2003. Think about it. Who started this?

  • @brokenscimitar So extremist represent their countries? Nice.

  • @brokenscimitar

The Tehran hostage situation should not be on that list. Hardly anyone understands it...Other than that, I agree.

  • @brokenscimitar ever heard of the Crusades?

  • @smithy2306

Had the Crusades not been waged, had the Habsburg monarchy not turned back the Ottoman tide at the end of the 17th Century, had Isabel of Castile not driven the Moors from Grenada, you would not be reading this diatribe. You would be illiterate, ruled by a tyrant, and squatting on the dirt floor of a mud-brick shack picking your nose.

  • @brokenscimitar History is history dude and we aint gonna change it so stop presuming what would or wouldn't have happened!

  • @smithy2306

    A. I am not a dude.

    B. Did I say that we are going to change history?

    C. If I were to pursue your argument further, I would remind you that a century after Mohammad death, in 732AD, the Moslems hordes had already conquered north Africa, Spain, Portugal and were deep inside France only to be defeated and ousted by Charles Martel at the Battle of Poitiers.

    D. Smart people try to learn from history, such as not making the same mistake twice.

  • @smithy2306

Moslems will bring up the crimes of the West, especially the Crusades. The fact is that the Crusades were waged to counter the Seljuk advance on Byzantium and the atrocities inflicted on Christians and Jews in the Holy Land. The Crusades were waged during a period of time when life in general was totally barbaric. This barbarism is unimaginable to modern Western sensibilities, but still considered absolutely reasonable by Moslems.

  • @brokenscimitar Yeah yeah I know about how the crusades were started and it went from defensive to full offense and still is to this day. Before that it was the Romans invading the Mid. East. You would swear Christians never used to burn people at the stake, crucify them, etc the way you go on... hmmm thats not barbaric is it!! And I suppose a napalm attack or a cluster bomb in our civilised age is much less barbaric.

  • @smithy2306

No, from what you've written so far, you don't know anything about the Crusades nor are they still on but I get the feeling that I'm wasting my time by going any further.

  • @brokenscimitar I never said they were still on but you should understand my premise that it contines to this day and what the west does is just as barbaric if not worse. I can see as well from your comments that you are a hater and your response is typical of someone like you. Have fun with your hatred, it will get you nowhere.

  • @liamo345

As far as freedom goes, I know what you mean, however, everybody has his own perception of what this is. You are free to travel and come and go as you please, believe or not in any religion you wish, vote, join or start a political party whereas in Islamic countries and others, this freedom does not exist. There is not ONE Islamic country which has a multi-party democracy. As Churchill once said, "Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others."

  • @brokenscimitar Judaism is a religion of peace? Israel. Christianity is a religion of peace? New York, Afghanistan, Iraq, some of the most dangerous places on earth. Atheism is peace? Soviet Union, Maoist china, Khamer Rouge cambodia some of the most dangerous places on earth. Stop picking on the muslims you narrow minded douche. I'm not a muslim, and can find a lot to critisize about it, but don't fling out stupid islamophobic propaganda!

  • @meggatonman

Sure maggotman, whatever you say. Now strap on your bomb belt and go play in the traffic.

  • @brokenscimitar

Absolutely Islam is the religion of peace provided you follow Islam every second in your life and you cannot have peace by offering the other cheek if you are an invade or a criminal. So make your you eliminate that threat by changing the persons mental set up or completely eliminate him if he is a continue threat to Islam.

  • @brokenscimitar

For your information those dangerous places are interfered or invaded by the Secular West which is voted into office by the Jews and Christians.

  • @brokenscimitar

Is that the religion's fault or the people's fault? Don't confuse the two.

  • @XenoX101

People behave like the gods they created.

  • @brokenscimitar I'm gonna' go punch someone in the name of atheism. We atheists are pretty violent aren't we?

  • @InfidelArmee

Let me tell you of "The Miracle Koran".

The Koran is Bullshit! Try this and come back to me or shut the fuck up: And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to our servant, then produce a Surah like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers besides God if you [doubts] are true (2:23)

  • @AdorIslam,

I have NO Doubt, that your "Servant of Satan", the PissProphet, Muhammed(piss be upon him!), was a Primitive, Piss Drinking, PiszAnt.

The Koran IS a "Clear Revelation".

    Very Clearly Bullshit!

  • Face it. Zionism is ruining Europe and America. They shove multiculturalism down your throat as they keep Israel closed to interlopers. They have you convinced that the Muslims are your real enemies as they make laws to allow more and more of them to flood across your borders. They use their power in finance, media, and govt. to control you and if you question any of it you are a "racist" or an "anti-semite". Wake the hell up people.

    Here is your proof:

    watch?v=n9DBmP86vAM

  • this guy tells the truth big time, listen U.K.

  • i will be voting ukip in the next ellection got to wait a while but a vote for ukip will come from me because it would be nice to see britan great again because at the moment is a joke to call it great britan

  • The first 45 seconds of this video also describes the situation in my country (the USA).

  • uhg once again it looks like america has to be the light of democracy and to fight the super state

  • i wish there was a party who would kill all the muslims in britain. people think the BNP want to do that but those people are just too lazy and stupid to actually research them. we need a nazi party to save britain

  • I'm glad that we here in Switzerland still have got real Democracy! I wish other countries in Europe would adapt our System..

  • Pat's so awake and uncontrolled, intelligent too, Why dont we see people like this in power instead of the idiots we do get -.-

  • Expat here. 'Bout your age as well! You speak very well. It could only be for the good if you become more influential.

I know well what you speak of. It took me twenty years to get a clue. May your well-spoken thoughts reach people so they are awakened in far less time than it took me.

    Thank you.

  • UK politics is crying out for someone with Balls, minus the incompetence.

  • @ScotlandMaleGlasgow His opinion is just as relevant as anyone else's with equal knowledge on these matters. Parties are parties, government entities, organized control freaks in a legalized mafia. They're out to control and social engineer in the same ways as these fanatical muslims and other groups. Any group who is interested in mandating or dictating actions to another against their will is no friend of mine, be it religious mandate or democratically elected tyranny.

  • @tantrikwizard, Codified Law prevents Tyranny.

    It also prevents Anarchy.

  • @InfidelArmee Hitler was elected democratically. His reign was legally codified anarchy and tyranny. Laws do not prevent tyranny nor anarchy. In fact, laws which are ignored produce anarchy, much like the USA federal governments refusal to seal the souther border. There are laws ignored which produce anarchy on the border. The USA citizens are held hostage by a legal mafia which confiscates their private property and allows foreign criminals to run amuck. Thats tyranny and anarchy.

  • @tantrikwizard, "legal mafia" is an oxymoron.

  • sad thing about what pat says is that it is true. spineless and unaccountable politicians steal both money and freedom from us all ..... and we sit and watch them do it and say "thank you very much"

  • It doesn't matter what Pat Condell says or what anyone says. He only got about 135,000 views. And let's say, for the sake of the argument, that somehow all of them were British views and not American or Canadian. That's 135,000 people in a country of about 50,000,000. And some of those who watched this probably still don't understand what he was saying or what these elections mean or the Fascism being pushed through the EU. The BBC gets millions of views. There is no hope.

  • @manmythlegend12, Kill yourself now.

  • i'm surprised you don't vote BNP dickhead

  • If you don't do serious research on politics(most citizens don't), then there's no quality control. This means YOUR VOTE goes to whoever has lots of money and NO CONCIENCE. If you don't vote, they still have majority, so that's good for them, too.

So if you're too lazy to think about this seriously, just vote for whoever is NOT IN POWER nor has a massive election campaign. That will weaken the current powers.

    Just a general guideline.

  • I have never looked at a vote like that... thanks!

  • this is practically a mirror image of America. The republicans, democrats, and the tea party. All of which seem to believe that if they make enough promises, they'll all magically come true.

  • @MsbacktoNYC, And what has Obama, "changed"?

  • @InfidelArmee

I didn't say shit about Obama, I just pointed out we have that same three party system and no one does what they say they will when they campaign.

Don't try to pull me in to some pathetic fight because your PMSing, k?

  • @MsbacktoNYC, I say, Shit on Obama.

Do you know what Etymology of, TeaBagging, is?

  • @InfidelArmee

Do you know what the etymology of 'I don't give a fuck' is

  • @MsbacktoNYC, Thanks for Not Caring!

  • DANG! Everything he is saying abolutely mirrors the situation here in the U.S.!!! Think about it! Astounding!

  • Oh man what a laughable speech. Always funny to hear nationalistic mumbling, with hollow populist message, put in a flaming speech with fancy words "...take back control our destiny, and it starts with you. You have the power. " Lol, sort of reminds me of a warmongering redneck in America that knows nothing about the world around him making a dramatic speech how USA should save the world with wars and torture.

Im going to touch on some of your points.

  • 1. You talk about lack of democracy in EU and the popular argument about unelected officials.. Even though we both know how you whiney anti-EU twats would scream facism or communism as soon as an EU official would propose to make EU a democracy, because that would effectively make EU a federal state not unlike USA. Anti EU people want to speak about the lack of democracy in EU because it's a good propaganda, THEY DO NOT WANT TO MAKE EU A DEMOCRACY, even though they claim it.

  • For example, what moron would speak of lack of democracy in the UN and how we should make the UN a democracy, with India and China controlling half of the votes.

Each country gets his own "unelected" commissioner, not because people in EU are bad people trying to destroy democracy like you halfwits seem to think, but to safeguard all countries views are heard at the table when legislation is being proposed, to be voted on by a democratically elected parliement, each country gets it fair share

  • 2. You talk about 75% of UK laws are EU legislations. I think it is always hilarious when Daniel Hannan and Nigel Farage speak about this fact and then claim they would want to swap places with Iceland(I come from Iceland) and Norway, not needing to pick up all those rules imposed on them by the big bad EU.. Except for the fact that it is about the same percentage of EU rules Iceland and Norway need to pick up, the only difference is, we have NO REPRESENTATION and get the rules in mail.

  • I have always said that I hope UK gets a referendum on leaving the EU and hope they will vote to get out. 2 ways would then be open for you. EEA, that basically means EU decides to make some rules, then they send them to you in mail, and you say yes and amen or you get kicked out of the common market. It would be hilarious to see the anti-EU populists trying to explain to the British nation how this benefitted their democracy.

  • The other way would be to go down a humiliating path of Switzerland with Bilateral(in reality unilatirel in EU's favor) agreement with the EU. In this case, not only EU but every major power like USA, Russia, China would take a piece at you guys every week. Not only them, but also small countries. For example, Son of Ghaddafi beat some maid to pulp in Switzerland, he obviously got arrested, so Ghaddafi put trade ban on Switzerland, lmao.

  • In the Swiss way, you would of course need to stop hosting financial criminals like UK and Switzerland specialize in. Russia would probably want their oligarchs back or you get a trade ban. USA and EU would want their tax evaders back(like happened with Switzerland in 2008 vs USA).

UK would be back on their knees in 5 years. This would be the best solution for EU, plus in re negotiating you guys in, EU would scrap the rebate and get you some social regulations that you currently opt out.

  • GO UKIP!!!!!!!!!!
