The way she sings at the very end of the song, and her voice trails off, sounds like she is ascending up into heaven. Kind of like at the end of her last video made before she died (roco the boat). She is a mermaid in the water and the camera shot underwater and is from below her looking up towards the light at the surface of the water and she drifts in the water until she kind of blends into the light. It is an interesting coincidence. She was such a gentle soul. Miss u Aaliyah.

I've always felt that the people who made Aaliyah's animated commercial for the red album should have been asked to make an animated music video for this song. I mean, if this is the official video and they used animation.. wouldn't it have just made complete sense to use the animated character of Aaliyah from the commercial and make an original video with it? I haven't seen the anime, but the video looks like it's replicating the plane crash in which Aaliyah died. Her beautiful music ( I believe this is symbolized by the spirit/mermaid thing) was touching waves of people even after her death.

I've always felt that the people who made Aaliyah's animated commercial for the red album should have been asked to make an animated music video for this song. I mean, if this is the official video and they used animation.. wouldn't it have just made complete sense to use the animated character of Aaliyah from the commercial and make an original video with it? That would have been so beautiful and more personal about Aaliyah.. because this such a disappointing video for this gorgeous song.

Little X appeared on Canada's MuchMusic's hip-hop show MuchVibe for Aaliyah's I Care 4 Us shortly after she passed. X directed one of her other videos with DMX. The I Care 4 u vid consists of clips from an old Japanese Anime. X mentioned that Aaliyah was a huge Japanese Anime fan. But I'll leave that to her superfans to debate about her interest in Anime

Beyonce & Ciara will NEVER be half as good as Aaliyah is. She did'nt need smoke & mirrors, she was natrually amazing. There is a diffrence between being a good performer & truly talented. Aaliyah was both.

I listen to this song everynight before I go to sleep, Aaliyah really does have the voice of an angel. One of the most beautiful songs EVER MADE.
It's so sad that you had to go so young, but i know you're onto bigger better things up there. We'll see you again one day angel :) Until then, you are forever in my heart.

I haven't seen the anime, but the video looks like it's replicating the plane crash in which Aaliyah died. Her beautiful music ( I believe this is symbolized by the spirit/mermaid thing) was touching waves of people even after her death.
