  • 'there's lots of whacky ideas...' yours included.

  • WOW - it's 12/7/11 & a couple of hours ago C2C just had a news story about a Time Traveler who was just caught trying to sabotage Hadron (he's been at it for awhile now - trying to save the earth or something). And then the first guest came on...Dr. Michio Kaku! And guess what he was on the show to talk about...Black Holes! WTF?!?

  • haha

  • wow u couldnt be any less informitive if you didnt have him on at all! GREAT JOB CBS!

  • A thought just occurred to me. Call me stupid or whatever but at the rate in which technology is advancing and if we assume time travel is possible it is obvious humans have either killed themselves or died out before we reached such levels of technological advancement. Looks like we don't have long left.

  • People actually thing there is such thing? So ridiculous. We can't go back in time because it is not a "place" to go to. It is the past. It has already passed. DUH

  • if we got sucked into a black hole then there wouldnt be anyone left to send anything back and that wouldnt be possible

  • Can u imagine I live next door :P greetings from Geneve

  • yeah ...and that same week it malfunctioned, I remember reading about some collision

in space. That was before i heard the Hadron Collider malfunctioned.

How conceited are we to think we could be the only ones in this infinite universe?

  • dr.Dmmet Brown sent martey back in time to save us lol

  • thank you emmet brown

  • take the energy from the cal. and focus it on a single points radius....duh? if theres a point with mass.like a carbon unit you can make it work.the whole point cannot be more or less than pie- radius. just use some math.

  • Notice he nods his head, as well as acknowledging what someone is saying this also means yes like we all know but basically he is agreeing with what the mans saying sooo...

  • john titor did it. with that infernal Kerr -twin hole machine!!!

  • @will4ward Hell yeah! John Titor rocks! =D

  • THAT GUY, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REMEMBER HIS NAME FOR SO LONG!!!

  • They call it "The Big Bang Machine" That's my nickname too.

  • People from the future only know how to drink Gatorade. Ever seen idiocracy?

  • Nukes use a ball of radioactive material the size of a baseball or even smaller now. A peashooter could say wipe out a small city or maybe even turn a couple 110 story towers into dust. Waku Kaku the hipster frontman for the NWO says this collider is now radioactive. HEY wait a minute. Colliding 2 tiny bits of matter doesn't make a several mile long tunnel filled with equipment radioactive. What the fuck is he talking about? Can't wait to see what kind of weapon they can come up with from this.

  • lol that's it?

  • oh yeah the prick that wrote the title can't spell traveller

  • @yahoopig google traveller, its spelled wrong. You got it wrong you prick.

  • @Ronnie51026 Fuck off and suck my cock you moron

  • @Ronnie51026traveller, a person who travels or has traveled in distant places or foreign lands. 3. traveling salesman. 4. part of a mechanism constructed to move in a fixed course. You fucking stupid looking dumb dipshit

  • @yahoopig google . com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&safe=active&q=traveller+&aq=f&aqi=g4g-o1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=5831956345d34357

    your the fucking idiot.

  • @Ronnie51026 Do you mean "you're"? Thick pig ignorant fat yank fuck

  • @yahoopig Fuck off you asshole

  • @yahoopig Also CBS, is American they spelled it in American English. If it were the BBC then your spelling would have been used.

  • @yahoopig Traveller is the British spelling. As far as i see it traveler is the correct way.

  • I notice he completely ignored the mans question about the people from the future. Kaku looks like an alien to me

  • It was a T1000 cyberdyne organism

  • @yahoopig lol

  • why does everyone assume that it destroys the whole world? What it it releases some sort of toxic rays that we can only contain and it ends up killing everyone in that country before another country found a way to contain it? or maybe it just created a 3 second black hole which kills almost everyone in that country? or maybe it destroys earths magnetic field.... stop being close minded people... science does not always yield results in our favor...

  • If it were to replicate the big bang... Would that not kill us all..?

  • Did the interviewer actually say "people in the future realized, if this thing actually really really works, it could recreate the big bang and we'd all get sucked in to a black hole"

If it actually works and sucks us all in to a black hole, would there be any people in the future??

  • @ponyboy1129 I was thinking the same thing...

  • @ponyboy1129

    PIME TARADOX

  • @ponyboy1129 what if it only destroys one country?

  • @H00dN3rdz

I was just going by his rules. He made a mistake in time/space continuum.

    Not my rules.

  • @ponyboy1129 You read my mind. Who survived and how did he built a time machine?

  • @ponyboy1129 No, because of people coming back. Since its the past it already happened, then the future had already changed.

  • @ponyboy1129 "If it actually works and sucks us all in to a black hole, would there be any people in the future??" Since it hasn't obviously worked there are "people from the future", ergo it doesn't work. And if it did...we obviously wouldn't be here would we? It obviously doesn't work because number 1 we're still here, and number 2 there are still "people from the future."

  • @ItsMePapaBurgundy1 the question was posed for Dr. Kaku. Sometimes he says things that can't have a sum because the math problem is ill-stated.

  • @ponyboy1129 what a total cock

  • @yahoopig What does that even mean?

  • @ponyboy1129 It means you are talking total shit. Hence you are a total dick

  • @ponyboy1129 Actually, I've read that the LHC does create black holes, but they are small, insubstantial, and run out of energy almost immediately, causing them to evaporate...as to how much of this is actually Truth, I have no idea..interesting stuff..

  • @GuitaristWithADHD I've read that elvis is still alive. Believe what you want you dickhead

  • @yahoopig Whoa, whoa.....calm down guy. I was just offering speculation. Why the hostility?

  • @ponyboy1129 If it's from an alternate universe where it worked, and they learned it wouldn't work for us?

  • @ponyboy1129 thats just ithe stopped it so it wouldnt happen so now someone here will be litterally him

  • @ponyboy1129 if we where to get traped in a black hole from the out side it would look lik we where gone super fast but on the in side time slows it my take years to fall in black holes fold Time and Space but this is all realy good guessing so how knows

  • @ponyboy1129 Which is why it didn't work, because they stopped it. Paradoxes of time traveling.

  • WTF now theres a commercial at the end!!!

  • "The big bang machine" sounds wrong

  • Derrr that was pointless Kaku, give him a proper answer.

"Pea shooter"? It's 27km long, and about 8 inches wide, you're gonna need to take a really, really deep breath for that one...

I guess he's just upset because it's way bigger and more powerful than anything in the USA.

  • @HolyFuckinShitBatman It's a pea shooter compared to natures own abillities.

  • a 20-mile wide pea shooter lol

  • @jackmcslay tax dollars at work.

  • fuck this commercials before ANd after the video, if I wanted to see that I'd watch TV!!!

  • second sun possible brown dwarf niburu blah blah blah, learn something real

  • I hope the LHC haven't created some kind of second sun, with this machine, because their putting all our lives on the line.

  • You cannot make a sun by smashing a few particles. The mass of the entire earth is not enough to make a sun, not by a long shot. The worst the LHC could do would pale in comparison to the damage one would receive by walking outside on a sunny day for 10 minutes. Its a great science tool, but harmless to the rest of us.

  • Comment removed

  • @july95211, what the hell are you smoking? Second sun?

  • @july95211 they have a LHC on Jupiter now? LMAO

  • @july95211 ...how do ya figure sports fan??

  • @wilatemodel.....what are you on about ??????

  • @july95211 ...took ya 2 months 2 answer?

  • most star systems are binary, but luckily ours isn't. unless of course you're talking about the secret nibiru dark rift illuminati 9/11 2012 rockefeller death star. that things real, i mean, everyone's talking about it...and the story behind it is so elaborate, nobody could make that stuff up! Except maybe H.P. Lovecraft...and Arthur C. Clark...and Ray Bradbury...alright, so some crackpot coulda just cooked it up...OH WELL, cause I AM gonna believe in something profound. I want real magic!

  • So sad. The ill informed are so much more dangerous than the uninformed. Would someone please teach these morons about the Schwarzschild radius.

  • You got Coco out of bed for THAT?

  • Dr. Michio Kaku rocks! I love reading his work.

  • get him on for a full interview.

if they sent people from the future why did they do such a bad job on destroying it

  • @SvPVids Palin 2012. That's why.

  • think of it like this, if it will destroy us now, and future people want to prevent it, how where there future people to begin with if we in the past destroied ourselves? I know there is a conspiracy to dumb down people, and man is it working!

  • @cheeto165 Your spelling is dumbing everyone who reads this down...

  • @Lumarius hey, kiss my ass :)

  • @cheeto165 It is! They started with you, and it's scary!

  • lol?

  • Lol interesting idea :D
