  • Single term with a 10 year limit. This forces turn over every 10 years, the person can run for a different office position, this way if they're competent they should be able to work their way up the ranks with people voting for them, and this would eliminate many career politicians. Have every other gov office up for election every 5, this way we can turn over half the politicians every 5 if they do a bad job.

  • By changing the politician, you do not eradicate corruption. It's here to stay Sam.

  • @GamersCafeIsBoss limit the power limit the corruption

  • Why is everyone saying we need a new president or whatever, we need a WHOLE new government, who doesn't brainwash Americans and poison our food and control us. KILLUMINATI.

  • @iNfEchelon lmao you can't be serious

  • and you know what the worst part of it is sam? us... all of us gripe and do nothing about it...no one does anything about it... americans= "sheeple!" (self included.)

  • Well said.

  • But term limits do nothing if the philosophy about government isn't changed

  • @Apptend0 it limits power which in turn can change philosophy

  • Ron Paul authors more bills than the average representative, such as those that impose term limits. He also proposed legislation to decrease Congressional pay. He returns a portion of his salary to the treasury every year too and contributes 97% into his pension plan. Vote Ron Paul 2012

  • @vechorik Already voting for him thanks.

  • @vechorik He did in the 80's but today he doesn't see term limiting as a good idea.

  • @vechorik As said in Liberty Defined

  • Can you do video about why video games are so expensive?

  • @KidWonder101 Games are the cheapest that they've ever been.

  • @TekkenAirJuggle Umm. Your joking, right?

  • @iNfEchelon $50 and $60 games in the 90's cost more than $50 and $60 now.

  • you can argue that you have a great politician whose good for the community, but he can only run for so and so years and then hes done! but it doesnt take a genius to know theres ways around that

  • Yes! This exactly!

Although, politicians aren't paid massively. But still, completely argee with you.

  • @ImNotADoctor5 they dont need to get paid massively by us, they make more than enough off corporate buyouts.

  • And agreed Samuel. Not just for the reasons you said, but when you have a 70+ year old politician, chances are they are so out of touch with society that they are dangerous to have in office.

  • A wise man once said, "Politicians are like diapers--they need to be changed often, and for the same reason." It's hard to get rid of them, though--there's a lot of nepotism in politics. As much as we WANT new leaders, we're scared to vote for them because we don't know how they'll perform. Even if we don't necessarily AGREE with the "career" politicians, we at least know what they're liable to do in office. It's an unhealthy system of thought, but it's one we'll have a hard time getting rid of.
