I have suggestion on how to manage to do this song. Take the key down to where the singer can sing it in falsetto and he'll do that together with one solo-violin. Voice and violin will share this note. Would work perfectly.
Leaving out the cherries in the cake, you don't wanna do that. What a singer this is by the way, wow.
