the only issue i have is the explination of how this stuff happened. it had somehting to do with radiation, but i think it'll lead into the pattern somehow.

This could be a wild theory, peter could be a possible hybred from both universes. Walter did experiments on him as a child, as well as taking him from his sleep (when peter had a nightmare) and It could explain the memory loss as well. What do u think? Human, non-human, or the perfect soldier.

this could be wrong, but could the balloons at 1:35 be a reference to the green-green-green-red pattern we've seen in some other episodes? i know there aren't four ballons and they aren't in that order but maybe its a hint.

Once again, thanks for your recap. Great to have Charlie back. I think it´s a great thing on Fringe, that it deals with such kinds of things, that having suddenly an episode that could be from an season past inside the second season is actually possible.

When Peter is trying to talk Andrew down from killing his wife, he says he was always sick at school and couldn't make friends. I think is is another reference to Peter coming from the other side because we know that only certain people can cross over and Walter mentioned some consequences. Maybe he was sick because of the crossover? Just a thought.

Yeah, I didn't even think about that. I just thought he was BS-ing her because that's what people do when they're trying to talk people down. But now that you say that, I wonder if it was something the writers were trying to tell us about Peter.

I was curious about his comments as well. I thought in Season 1 ( I can't remember what episode) Walter tells Peter he was often sick as a boy and Peter tells Walter "i don't remember any of this". I had always thought that the original Peter was always sick and this is how eventually the original Peter died. But I was also under the impression that this Peter was always in perfect health which made me wonder why he said all that crap to Lisa.

I'm thinking the episode's somewhere between 15 and 19.

This episode reminded me a lot of Earthling, firstly cause these are the only two episodes I found not to be really believable, and with the scenes at the end.

Also - they've got another Russian reference in there. Fringe trying to tell us something?

I agree, it was alot like Earthling. Standalone, non-pattern related. Governments causing the problem and covering it up. Very similar. Plus two russians. And boring as heck! See my comment below to FringeLatino about the episode placement. About the congrats, you'll have to figure that out for yourself. ;-)

i agree with u in almost every thing but i dont think this ep. its 1.21 `cause in 1.20 Olivia have a car accident and come back to this reality in 2.01, i think this ep. maybe its 1.18 or 1.19 it will fit better there dont u think?.....

or maybe its for the other side.....lol

I agree with you as far as timeline goes. It can't take place between S01E20 and S02E01, because Olivia is not even there. I agree it would go better before S01E20.

Don't know about you but I was ESTATIC at Charlie's little return here. Made me remember that this was an unaired episode from season one.

Still though, Charlie was absolutely epic in this episode, tackling a navy seal and saving the day.

Makes me miss him all the more....

Boy Josh, you got this one up in record time!

I'm surprised you didn't mention Lisa's question to Peter earlier in the episode:

"So is Agent Dunham like your girlfriend or something?" And his reply:

"No, she's a friend who is also a girl."

These set up Lisa's staement to Liv that she'd be 18 n a year, and if Olivia didn't make a move on him by then she would.

I found those comments very fun, that even a posessed teen could see and sense the Peter/Olivia vibes going on. :)
