I never got why does Kairi get to go back to Destiny Islands ad the end of KH 1, but Sora and Riku don't go back till the end of KH 2?(And I know Sora had to go find Riku, I jsut didn't get why They don't go back till the end of number 2)
I haven't played through KH1, so I'm not certain why Kairi went back, but I know that Riku had to stay in the realm of dark to seal the door to light with Sora. A sacrifice. I think Sora didn't go home because he wanted to find Riku so they could return to Kairi together, which didn't happen until the end of KH2 because the darkness changed Riku's appearance and he was sulking in the shadows the whole of KH2.
But I think Kairi went home because she's useless. xD

The song is called "Rise" by Yoko Kanno. It's also the second opening for Ghost in the Shell.
Nice vid. The music skipped a tad, though. I like the "Thinking of You" video much more. <3
