I have been two years to jclc in alabama and no jrotc is not a "nerd fest" it helps people like me earn a higher pay grade which i did i am an E3 with the National guard and we worked just as hard as any other jclc out there

Loved it my freshman year, haha, going in at my third year...

Summer camp for the most part is an experiance that will follow you for the rest of your life, even outside of school and jrotc. Haha, all the friendship of normal camp, but with the bonding and trust building excercises of army training xD...

First year was hard, after second year, not so much. Just nervous bout becoming captain lol
