@strugglefishful originally the bull terrier was used for fighting, then hunting and now pet. not sure about the history of pit bulls but i have an English bull terrier and shes perfect. i have also met a few pit bulls in america and i love em too. its there upbringing that defines them

wow people talk bad about this breed like it's a monster. I know this dog can look odd to many people but don't hate it because it's different from all the other breeds. Bull Terriers have a great personality and if you ever came close to one you would with out a doubt see they are great dogs and their personality makes up for his strangeness. People need to stop being shallow and look beyond the exterior.

@Funnikkia Any dog breed can be aggressive. When these dogs were bread they did intend to make them fighting dogs but the bull terriers proved to not make it in the pit as aggressive enough and failed to be fighting dogs. Though like most dogs they become loyal to their masters and can be hostile towards strangers. So they must be socialized with both humans and animals. They are known to be goofy dogs. But aggressive just the heck of it? Absolutely no. It depends on how the owners treat them.

Buena respuesta rauzumaki. En principio se usaron para pelear con toros y luego como se prohibió este tipo de prácticas en Inglaterra se usaron para peleas con otros perros. Actualmente son usados como perros de compañía y tienen un carácter increible gracias al trabajo de los criadores de hoy en dia. Es para mi la mejor raza del mundo. Cariñosos y obedientes aunque algo cabezotas y con los niños son una pasada, muy protectores.

they are terrier dogs (pitbull, bull terrier's etc etc)...these type of dogs tend to become cocky when they get older.

if you don't train them right then they can become agressive when they hit the 6th month mark.
