  • Nope.. this is not what exactly we call kundalini yoga. Kundalini yoga is all abt performing some ASANS to awaken the 4 chakras that lies in our body. This is just some stretching excersice which will help u keep ur backbone and ur knees good health.... so this is lil bit misleading video..!!!

    You're right this is not kundalini yoga...but in the practice there are 8 chakras...not 4...

  • She is doing Kundalini Yoga. You do break a sweat, the movements are fast compared to other types of Yoga, thats the whole point of Kundalini Yoga. Its not meant to be slow, long and deep stretching as other styles, that's what makes Kundalini Yoga different to all others. She know's exactly what she's doing.

  • I know that using the word yoga sounds very exotic, so a lot of Americans have been duped into believing that these stretching exercises are yoga but they are not. This is just stretching. I realize that is doesn't sound as impressive to call it stretching, but that is what it is. It is not yoga. Truth be told, this lady probably doesn't have a clue what kundalini even is.

  • haha, Yoga just means "union" anything you do to become one with your self/ universe is considered yoga.

  • If ya find you dont have the time for this, i wanted to remind those who forgot, TV is 100% proven factually HYPNOSIS, stop watching it, you will find lots of time to do many things, TV is addiction, a drug, look at people watching and try to get thier attention, expecially kids, they will ignore your calls for them over and over, glued to TV, It is poisoning us all, spread the word, see the facts FAST before the whol USA is Hypnotized and Conquered.

  • Evidently you have not done Kundalini Yoga. This is how it is done except she should be pulling back her toes. KY is aerobic and it is good to sweat. I have taught for 35 years.

  • thx for the vid....but this not for begginers...u can bend u spine well..so u can touch the legs with ur head..but a beginner cant do that(spine bend)...first tell some techniques to bend the spine

  • This is for beginners. The object is not necessarily to bring the head to the knee. The object is to go down as far as possible. It is the same for everyone.  Even if you can grab a knee, go down as far as possible. This just shows how far one CAN go down. Everyone has to start at their own level. It is not a competition. Just do the best you can do.
