Ok I remember that there was a witchblade series long ago, now was it a series first or a manga first? I have seen a little of the jap version of witchblade but... the story line is diffent,

@Hattaru its originally a western comic. rooted from the darkness comiv and another one, look in wiki for the down low. the jap witch blade is nothin like the orignal concepts and storyline. :))

Yery good! I knew about the comic & occasionally browsed the covers. As a new fan of the Witchblade anime, I'm going to have to learn how to create a video response with Masane Amaha pics. She's no Sara Pezzini, but she's not supposed to be!

of course not, that's what makes the anime so unique, she wasn't supposed to be a wielder, she was a hide out for six years with the witchblade under her skin waiting for its chosen bearer to grow up. If not for returning to Tokyo and forcing it to fight the things that were attracted to it, it would have just remained hidden. Which may also help explaine its devolved state in the anime (aside from animation cost that is LoL). That or it adapted that way to hinder the clone attempts on it.
