Personally, I was amazed to learn that-- it didn't sound like him when he played Smith; and definitely sounds nothing like him in his native speaking voice, having an Australian accent thick enough to walk on. Then again, I remember hearing in the behind-the-scenes feature on this that though he had a dialogue coach assigned to help him with his lines, Weaving didn't really need the help, already having an immense vocal range on his own. I tend to agree, does anyone else?
