Lesson to other novelists who have to give speeches: Don't read off a script. That's NOT a speech, it is a 'reading'. Here, Grisham only reads a script out near the end because he has to introduce the next speaker.

@wilmingtonfan Agree. Most novelists are lousy public speakers. But Grisham is a wonderful, funny, and energetic exception. Thanks for posting this video.
