@jinneebhat eating raw tuna isnt bad for you, but you also cant eat just any raw tuna, its best if you ask for the fresh tuna that is recommended for eating raw, same goes with salmon and other fish

@Manachan92 Wasabi, for all intents and purposes, is a very spicy paste that, in sushi, typically is mixed with soy sauce, which you then dip the sushi in. Hope that helps!

@mchvlneva smell fishy, yes but that shouldnt be the problem. if the fish is prepared well, it has no fishy smells. and in this case, in rolled sushi. if its in sashimi, it may still have smelly taste but still its shouldnt be problematic.

@Nekologic no, not normally. The fish only has parasites if it is not good quality fish. If you get your fish from a crappy little fish market, worry. If you trust the market, however, there is almost no chance of parasites. Sushi shops are the same way.

@Harpiieboy It still has all the nutrients it naturally comes with, as to cooking it cooks out the nutrients. It is easy to eat for someone with sore throat. If you're so worried about parasites, freeze it -20 degrees F for about two days. It will kill them and some bacteria. Did you know our body actually takes some bacteria and some parasites but naturally avoids it from affecting us?

The nori sheet has a shiny side and a rough side wich is more sticky. U always put the rice on the rough side so the rough side has to be up when u prepare ur maki. Good luck!
