About the settlements, MY personal opinion is that it is simply ridiculous to consider going back to the pre-'67 borders, there are over 300 000 Israelis now living in those settlements, there are cities established in that land by the Jews. The only solution in my mind is taking the big settlements and making it part of Israel and in exchange Israel should give PA some of the land it's not using.

@1streason If you "steal" my property and have lived there for 45 years, I think there are laws that protect you from being evicted. I think after 30 years you have a right to stay there, at least in my country, it can vary. In most cases, you'd have the right to keep it BUT you'd have to give something to me, preferably properties. This is what Israel should do, keep the big settlements and give the Palis some of its dessert, it was dessert before they made it decent looking anyways.

There are the lucky ones who didn't flee and accepted Israel.

Israel isn't after the recognition of it's right to exist, it's way past that now, it's stealing lands and recourses from the Palestinians.

About the settlements, MY personal opinion is that it is simply ridiculous to consider going back to the pre-'67 borders, there are over 300 000 Israelis now living in those settlements, there are cities established in that land by the Jews. The only solution in my mind is taking the big settlements and making it part of Israel and in exchange Israel should give PA some of the land it's not using.

Settler were taking out of their homes in the promise that maybe MAYBE there would be peace. And what has Gaza become since then? A rocket launching area. Do you think this attitude deserves trust? OTHERWISE, IF WE GO BY THAT LOGIC, Jordan also belongs entirely to Palestinians, but that didn't stop them from making it an indepedent state, where they don't want any more Palestinian arabs. Israelis won't give the beautiful cities they have built for the past 45 years to arabs, that's pretty damn clear, it will take them a few weeks to turn them into dessert.

This is not the solution for the Palestinian people to spread them around the Arab States. They have their own country and they should stay there.

And there have been conflicts between the two, like in 1970, the King of Jordan murdered more than 20,000 palestinians because the PA tried take control. Or just like right now, revoking their citizenships, leaving Palestinians "stateless," depriving them of passports, voting rights, education, travel, health care and jobs. I believe you're referring to the Holy Masjid Al-Haram area in Mecca city, the holiest place for all muslims in the world.

@1streason If you "steal" my property and have lived there for 45 years, I think there are laws that protect you from being evicted. I think after 30 years you have a right to stay there, at least in my country, it can vary. In most cases, you'd have the right to keep it BUT you'd have to give something to me, preferably properties. This is what Israel should do, keep the big settlements and give the Palis some of its dessert, it was dessert before they made it decent looking anyways.

@1streason I keep referring to Jordan because of the hypocrisy of it all. The thing with Palestine is... it has never been independent. Not under the Ottomans, not under the British, not under Jordan and Egypt.. As I've said before, there are over 300,000 Israelis living in those settlements, there are cities established in that land by the Jews. Some have been there for hundreds of years. Until the day comes where those arabs don't represent a threat to Israel's security, expect to see the IDF.

Again, arabs didn't get evicted. They were told by Syria to flee while they took care of the Jews (funny how it ended up) and where sent to refugee camps in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Jordan. There are the lucky ones who didn't flee and accepted Israel.

@Lagolop Ok, not you, the israelis then. Nevertheless, it is ridiculous to expect Arab families who have lived in Israel for centuries to just move away and make room for Jewish immigrants. Also, the UN consensus (in which the Arabs did not participate) gave a distribution of land way more even than what exists now on the region, and did create an Arab state which was gradually displaced by Israel. BTW palestine was the way to refer to the region until 1967.

Nobody forced any arabs anywhere. They left on their own when the stinking arab leaders decide to declare war on the infant Israel. They told their brethren to leave, they would destroy all the Jews and they could return and take all the Jewish property. Trouble for them is, they lost the vert war THEY began.

Israel will be so thankfull if Egypt will agree to " take back" Gaza and Jordan the West bank....But they are refusing to do so,because they don't want terrorists in their backyard. When President of Egypt came to Israel on 19 November 1977, after the 6 day war Israel wanted to return all the land that belonged to
Egypt, He refused to take Gaza along with the Sinai peninsula.
He knew he will have problems,so he left it to Israel to deal with Gaza, unfortunately.

@Leisis1 Nobody supports Hamas, but you have to acknowledge that Israel attacks the Palestinians regardless of weather they are being fired upon or not. Israel has been and remains abusive during a 60 year-old conflict, weapons have not and will not solve it, and until Israel changes nobody has any reason to feel sorry for them.
Israel sunk a fleet full of humanitary aid, blockaded the Palestinians starving them, and never respected a single border they drew.
