i actually tried the demo of this game for the 360.Yes it had alittle lag in the movie scene at the start but the gameplay itself isnt all that bad.Its Different but not bad.All Zombie games are all shooters and gets boring fast.This felt more like a real life survival horror.The person who played this game wasnt very good at playing it.You do realise your supposed to dodge when the zombies attack?.The buttons for the 360 work fine.Amy is something different.Instead of killing anything you see.

I've finished the game 2 times and it was easy for me. And if you are a true fan of survival horror, ignore this review, the game isn't terrible. The controls and gameplay isn't hard, the truth is: some people don't know how to use them correctly. I agree with the hole thing, Lana could go trough it like Amy does, but other things are fine and cool for me. Amy is a great game in my opinion, and If you like SURVIVAL HORRORS, you will love this game.

I finished this game today, in about 4 hours, about 15 deaths, in 2 days separately and on normal mode... Well, I'd at least wish the mechanics weren't so damn broken, the only thing I care now is about the last golden trophy I miss. I foresee sadness, anger on my life and sleep problems, knowing I have to go throught all those bad controls again, with double time and deaths... At least I know how to survive every level, without knowing, I exploited many glitches, thinking it was the right way.

Amy reminds me of Siren:Blood Curse on psn. Its similar in style of escort missions and emphasis on horror survival and melee weapons against zombies. I would recommend Siren I've played it myself and its amazing.
@blibble321 Yeah it really is, Amy is very similar just a different aesthetic and the principles are the same, the only difference is that siren controls a lot better but still isn't perfect (but I like that, most horror games have slightly awkward controls it makes the game harder and scarier at times) Plus siren's story seemed very strange like drug-induced Japanese quirky madness. Only if siren used more stealth missions then it would be a lot scarier (the end boss was annoying though)

It is survival, horror, I spend my time with this game, it was challenging, frustrating. I enjoyed it, and embraced the experience. I'll let it be on my ps3 hard disk after I finish it again on hard mode.
I just recently finished this game and to be honest it wasn't even that bad. A bit mediocre yes but not horrible to the point where I would supposedly throw my PS3 out of my window. And to the person somewhere down there who said somewhere along the line of "only the people that defend it are the stupid fucks who bought it." Well...I believe that was the whole reason why some of us voiced our opinion because we actually bought it and played it and we feel that AMY deserves a little bit more.

Why he's hell bent on saying Amy is a bad game. It's decent if you have half a brain. I'm all about Silent Hill and RE, and this game is pretty good. You can see from the beginning that there was an accident right before the train derailed a plane or something from a plane crashed and the infection quickly spread in town. The DNA scanners are a government device they (the people on the game) use for secure door. Amy hacks computers because she's advanced. Games with a little mystery is good.

Gotta say just from watching gameplay of it, it does look really repetative. I'm guessing you only get that pipe to hit people with, and if you do that throughout the whole game then that's an automatic bad game for today's standards. Controls do look really horrible, lots of glitches, stupid plot holes. Overall a very bad game and I've never even played it. It's a shame because I was looking forward to it when I saw the trailer, but not anymore.

@WonderMan320 I also liked it too, hardcore gamers don't let things like bad controls or bad voice acting turn us down. It is survival, horror, I spend my time with this game, it was challenging, frustrating. I enjoyed it, and embraced the experience. I'll let it be on my ps3 hard disk after I finish it again on hard mode.

I just recently finished this game and to be honest it wasn't even that bad. A bit mediocre yes but not horrible to the point where I would supposedly throw my PS3 out of my window. And to the person somewhere down there who said somewhere along the line of "only the people that defend it are the stupid fucks who bought it." Well...I believe that was the whole reason why some of us voiced our opinion because we actually bought it and played it and we feel that AMY deserves a little bit more.

This game reminds me of the Human Centipede. It sucks, there is almost no redeeming factors to it, yet some people blatantly defend it and call it genius, and give it unnecessary amounts of attention.

Why he's hell bent on saying Amy is a bad game. It's decent if you have half a brain. I'm all about Silent Hill and RE, and this game is pretty good. You can see from the beginning that there was an accident right before the train derailed a plane or something from a plane crashed and the infection quickly spread in town. The DNA scanners are a government device they (the people on the game) use for secure door. Amy hacks computers because she's advanced. Games with a little mystery is good.

You only think this because it's rare that a really awful game comes along and is reviewed harshly.

@iastudio Yeah, I don't know why he said the controls sucked either. I've played on Xbox and the controls are fine. Maybe he needs to compare across BOTH platforms before he makes a review next time for games on more than one. The story works if you can figure it out. Once I beat it, it will come together for me like every game with an unclear story at first. I don't even think he played the whole game, he failed to mention Amy's abilities later in the game...

Oh, be serious, people. This game is good. A solid 5 or 6. It's entertaining. It's not a big deal, obviously, and It's good. Good, not great. What does 2 mean? It's not 2. 2 is a game almost unplayable. It's not unplayable. This company has good ideas, poorly executed, and we know it, like it was with Alone in The Dark. The games are more belivable(Its a wasteland and it looks like it) In Skyrim... why is it empty wasteland? Why an NPC with an arrow in the head say "Its my imagination"....

@Kserijaro Skyrim isnt meant to be for puzzles. If you think it is then you fail hard. I dont think Skyrim is perfect. for me Skyrim is a 8.5 maybe a 9. Reason being the loading times and glitches but that comes with how big the world is. Also I dislike the story but others do like it. Now when it comes to depth, leveling, and graphics if I have to show you those in skyrim then your a child who needs his hand to be held when walking across a street

Gotta say just from watching gameplay of it, it does look really repetative. I'm guessing you only get that pipe to hit people with, and if you do that throughout the whole game then that's an automatic bad game for today's standards. Controls do look really horrible, lots of glitches, stupid plot holes. Overall a very bad game and I've never even played it. It's a shame because I was looking forward to it when I saw the trailer, but not anymore.

Puzzle sucks because they don't make sense in relation to the story and what you're doing, controls suck because they are frustrating, non intuative and sometimes work somethimes don't. I haven't played the game, this is what he said, maybe you should pay attention next time if your going to slag it off.
