haha no they don't have razor sharp teeth or anything. It will shock you more than anything cause they usualy bite very quickly. It's kinda funny sometimes haha. But I wouldn't recommend you do it so that it becomes a habit of an Oscar, well at least if you personally own it.

My catfish grew from 1" to 11" in 10 weeks that one is prob younger then 5 mnths...... I L O V E his vacumn at 3:40 which he eats like 9 krill at once.

@Spyder001oUSAo I doubt it will grow that quick but I would agree that eventually it will need a bigger tank (maybe up to 300 gal.). However, this tank is large enough for now.

@TrueConservative123 Yeah they def. grow that quick 1\2" a week is normal and 300 gal is still way too small. You should research fish before you buy them and I dont mean posting on forums and talking to hobbists. Read a book about the RTC, they grow at least 3' esp. with meals like that. That fish needs 500 gallons min as an adult.
