@gabe2304 a girl called chell is used for testing by a homicidal robot named GladOS she manages to kill glados and escape but then gets put back inside the facility and then she wakes up OVER 9000 days later and meets a little robot named wheatley they accidently reacivate glados and chell gets put back in testing until they escape and shut down her turrets and posion gas and then defeat her and put wheatley incharge of the facility and then puts glados in a potato and sends you into the bowls

@gabe2304 i'll try lets see you first see shell in the first chamber when she wakes up from a stasis in aperture labs when she wakes up she is created by GLaDOS an ai made by aperture which killed all of the employees in aperture so thats why you are alone you go though tests when GLaDOS sees that you are too good and are a threat to her so she tries to kill you but chell's arrogance helps here so she doesn't give up

@gabe2304 in portal's ending she is blown out of aperture to it's parking lot when in a few minutes she is taken back into aperture by a party escort bot,later valve releases a comic called rattan which is a story by Douglass Rattman who went crazy after GLaDOS kills everyone in the facility and helps shell along the way(the markings on the wall are by rattman) and ends up dying to save shell(portal 2) shell wakes up in another stasis and does these routines and goes to sleep for who knows?

@gabe2304 after that she is created by a bad design sphere (Wheatly) who takes her out and gets her the one portal gun and she goes and dos tests and they find away to get out but accidentally turn GLaDOS back on and she is pissed that she killed her so she tries to kill shell in multiple tests that she made rattan dens are found along the way wheatly comes back and they leave and sabotage the turret production line a nuerotoxin generator so they can face her and she will be helpless

Why would you abandone this project? In my opinion it's just great! You can use Portal 2 SDK which is much better now and tranform old Portal chambers into great Portal 2 harder and better chambers! If I were in charge of this map project, I wouldn't let it abandone. I don't know about you.
