Gorillaconna the Gothic lolita is truly inspired by western gothic fashion and the victorian era. That being said this particular style of goth is Asian and spread to Europe. The western gothic styles are still different, like punk style, gothic fusion styles, and even the goth style. I said earlier loli fashion is inspired by western fashion, but was created in Asia. ex H.Naoto first designer to make the gothic loli runway fashion, I dont see many famous western gothic runway fashion designers.

i dont understand why ppl think gothic loita is asian. i meen come on it even has gothik in its title... all it is is the western goth in western old fashon clothing... ower western rocers wer dresing like this in the 80s for crying out loud... so you see its not a asian style its just on an asian who chainged the name slightly.

The title is choosen because the japanese lolita fashion is a different one then the one at the wester countries since it is mainly used there as label for skimpy clothing fashion that makes look younger like schoolgirl outfits and such.
