  • Staffies can be dreadful with other animals, that's why people fight them. You have to socialise them as pups. My housemates have a staffy, she's lovely toward people but she kills anything smaller than her if she can manage it. She's killed two cats and blinded a yorky among other things. Beware, if you want a staffy, you've got to socialise it asap!

  • Very sweet. Dogs aren't born dangerous. Only trained to be so by humans. Usually because the dipshit humans are afraid of other humans.

  • The satffy is like: "I love you! Play with me!!" and the kitten: "NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Let me go!! Your head is too big!" which reminds me.. I have to go for a walk with our staffy :D

  • Ralphie is just gorgeous! Staffies are the best dogs especially if bought up properly. I have grown up with staffies and I just cant get enough of them. My staffies name is Elwood and he has his own personality never a dull moment!

  • Ralphie and Arteta are beautiful. Great Video. I used to have a Staffy. xx

  • i love staffys! Ralphie looks exactly like mine!

  • Okay. Frist off, i know everyone is done with this comment but dog's do not have a race. They are DOGS they are breeds. They are not black white yellow pink or blue. You sire have shown a new level of being stupid. You should be dignoused with the stupid deasie. Dont hit me with you can't spell. Also the Swedish army never did crap so what the heck are you talking about. I would rather stick my hand dunked in ground beef in the mouth of a Staffie then the mouth of a Golden Retriever.

  • my Staffie puppy hasn't realised that u can't play with any old cat. My older Staffie knows to steer clear of strange cats after getting nailed on the nose. My pup has yet to learn that painful lesson lol

  • POOR KITTY, IT'S LIKE : "HAAAAAALP!" LITERALLY. lol aww cute!

  • Staffies have such a bad reputation , we have a staffie and a cat and made a consious decision to get both together so as i had heard awful stories about staffies and cats and wanted ours to be good wiht cats , My 2 were in seperable XX its lovely to see your video.

  • Ralphie and Arteta are my staffie and cat... they have always been the best of friends and playfight all the while... they are hilarious.... and are wonderful company for each other..... and sleep together... XX

  • my dad is thinking about getting a staffie! By the way, is the kitten alright? anyway the kitten was tottaly confused it was like " oh no DOG!! i hate dogs. no no oh he's gonna bite me! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • We have a Staffie and an older cat and the cat is in charge. Our dog is very brave when the cat has his back turned to him but once the cat faces the dog the dog goes the other way. Our Staffie is 9 yrs old and the cat is about 15 yrs old. Staffies are so-o entertaining!

  • arent they lovely together, brought up together is good, no bullying by either!! ace xx

  • That does not look like Mum to me....

  • Staffies are affectionate dogs.

  • That's so cute. Love it!

  • i <3 this!!

  • man i have a cat and pitbull and if you broke into my house my dog would run scared and my cat would kill you! my cat is so mean to my dog but she puts up with him biting her all the time. real cute!

  • man i have a cat and pitbull and if you broke into my house my dog would run scared and my cat would kill you!

  • Oooh, that's an adorable staffie! Staffs aren't exactly the most attractive dogs around, but yours is gorgeous!

  • @TheWonderfulWombat disagree staffs are gorgeous dogs they always look like there smiling lol

  • I like his color, it is really cool!!!

  • Lol! It's like saying "Black people were bred for slavery". Fucking silly arses.

  • You guys are nutters! It's like saying everyone with a hood is an ASBO waiting to happen. My nan is in her 80's and hasn't got hers yet and she loves her Nike sweats. Don't agree, try to change things! Adopt a Staff! It's not as thought it's going to nick your bank card or charge up your catalogue account.

  • @jamfabulous OR IS IT? I wouldn't put it past a Staffie pup, they're right cheeky buggers.

  • I thought it looked like Ralphie, lovely video Terri. Both Terri's Staffords are all hospital visiting PAT dogs - lovely video :)

  • Unless the dog is wonderful in this movie?

  • LOL so cute!

  • the staffie and kitten are gorgeous!

  • hahaha thats great

  • @Skalmans750 wow are you even educated? That was one of the most shallow and unintelligent comments I've read in a long time. Every society goes through phases of dog bias - even German shepherds, now family dogs were once frowned upon.

You obviously have no experience with a staffordshire bull terrier and therefore your comment reflects this lack of knowledge. You need to get more education on this topic before you decide to voice your opinion.

  • @brindlebums Why this ignorance? what is wrong with you?. im getting deeply worried about you lack of knowledge when it comes to what they are capable of.

Just ask police, Hospital and they will tell you what you dont want to hear.

I understand that you love your dogs, but the fact that you seem to be totally unaware of what problem they might cause (causing) makes me worried and more convinced about the fact that certain individuals should not be allowed to keep certain races.

  • Comment removed

  • @Skalmans750 1) I am totally aware...it is the owner not the breed 2) the word you should be using (since you are so seemingly educated about this topic) is actually "breed" not "race". I arrest my case. This msg needs no response from you. Let it be known: You, based on your discussions on this topic, lack complete credibility to comment on this issue. Any conversation for this point on with you regarding this topic is a complete waste of everyone's time, including those reading your posts.

  • i don't know about anyone else but it looked like a tickle game to me. the dog was tickling the kitten and then it ran away to turn it into a game of chase haha way too precious

  • awww

  • aww my staffys love our cat 2 bits they lick his ears n sleep beside him 2 lol soooo sweet xx

  • so cute!!!

  • So cute! Ralphie is obviously a very good dog. He knows how he can play with Arteta without hurting her, and Arteta seems to love him as well. I love Staffies, and seeing a video like this makes my heart sing!

  • Yeah, I despise these people that demonise Staffies. I grew up with a Staff, she was perfectly behaved, didn't mind having small children playing with her and she had a great relationship with our cat. They were always playing together. She was also incredibly loyal and friendly unless you had a go at one of us, then she'd let you know it was time to leave.

The only problem is the people owning the dog, which can be said for *any* breed.

  • awwww

  • LOL, aww! i loved the dog :) the cat was like 'Wdf i'm gonna fall and your pushing me?' i laughed aww there both Beautiful :) x

  • Wow, hes a gorgeous staffie! perfect head and playful but gentle temperament! x

  • staffy's the nanny dog

  • i think your puppy is trying to eat your pussy

  • Cute. My Staffy is scared of my cat.

  • thats a very cute staffy face

  • I was brought up with 3 staffies when I stayed at my Grandma's in Devon. I was always around them even at the age of 4 and they were such friendly, family dogs. I could not have asked for happier memories :)

  • awww

  • Tell me about it, i have a staffy and a rottweiler and they r both my babies and wonderful with my 12 yr old braindamaged bro

  • so cute, my staffy made a better mother than most human beings these days.

  • That kitten looks alot like a Bengal cat...is it ?

  • I've noticed that everyone calls them staffys. There are staffordshire bull terriers and staffordshire terriers. The staff. bull terriers are smaller and commonly refered to as nanny dogs.I don't know why I fealt the need to be Mr. Knowitall. They are both excellent dogs.

  • i love staffies i had one growing up called tyson and from me being born till the day he left he did nothing but love me i stole his food his tioys and ntheir are even pics of me sharing his bed, if they are brought up properly they are the loveliest of dogs

  • staffies are such gorgeous dogs :] i have one myself and he is the most friendliest dog ever :]

  • My dog Sweetie likes to mother some kittens, "even tho she has been fix'd" she still acts like a mom to them, giving them a bath.

  • how old is the Staffy? My son's Staffy is 2yrs old (he's still at home) and I was thinking I'd like to get a Devon Rex.

I was wondering how they'd get along.

  • Awesome!! My Staff's always playing with his cat too! She kicks his fat ass everytime!! :D Our Shitzu kicks his ass too!! Staffs are such laid back gentle muscle men!

  • this is just like my staffy n our new kitten, so sweet

1 day my dads staff was over and he didnt like the kitten and went for it, even though my dog n my dads r best friends, my staff didnt like what he did 2 her kitten, so she made sure he was put in his place

  • Staffy cross with bullys never look anything like they have bully

  • It's not the dogs that are at fault, all breeds can be vicious, regardless of what breed or size they are.

NO DOG IS BORN BAD.....the finger of blame falls with those that are holding the leash and meant to be responsible for the dog.

  • Looks a lovely strong breed you got there.

Harder and harder to find these days due to the interbreeding of this pedigree.

Gorgeous face and fantastic bull head on that one however.

    Njoy him.

  • @0:34 the kitten is like... "woaaah I'm about to fall... hold up for a minute" lmaoo!

  • did he eat it afterwards?

  • This is so cute, I have a three year old cat and an 8 month old Staff/Collie cross - they are just like this together!

  • My Staffy used to be terrorised by a friends 2 kittens when we took him round. He used to sit againt the sofa not moving at all and not making eye contact with them ! This is the same dog that people used to cross the road to avoid and grab their kids in the park .... unbelievable !!

  • @berserkdiesel - I too own a Staffy. Its the media blowing it all out of proportion as my SBT is so friendly and docile and gentle, its just amazing how they've been tagged with this terrible reputation.

  • @IntellectualAmy agree entirely..our staffy is friendly to a fault..it's funny the only time he actually barked at night was when my daughter came home with a friend (female). We looked at him and asked him what on earth he was barking for? but anyone can come into the house during the day and he thinks he has a new friend!

  • What kind of kitten is that?A bengal?Because i have an 8 week old bengal kitten that looks alsmost the same lol.But it lives inside for now because my 2 staffys will kill it if they get the chance.

  • Because of my Staff, my cat thinks he is a

DOG, kinda cool having a cat that comes when its called LOL Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the best family dogs ever as far as I am concerned :D

  • Awesome vid. Your staffie is so cute!

  • This is adorable! I had 5 foster kittens and when they would cry my staffy would lightly pick them up in his mouth and take them to groom on the bed. This is a great breed and very cute video.

  • good looking dog

  • what a beautiful gentle boy.

  • that is so cute-I have a staff and he's just as soft but thinks he's human x

  • there is always going to be the idiots on here who decry the "vileness" of the pit breeds while not knowing their butts from their faces. It's a fact of human nature, people want easy categories to fit things into and we have been led to believe that pits are brutal things. I myself know this to be false and have owned and met many beautiful varieties of these breeds, but there is no changing the minds of stubborn fools who refuse to see what is plain as day in front of their faces. Ignore them.

  • I have a staffy cross but we duno waht shes crossed with, we think its a dalmation cos shes tall and has spots but has the staffy face

  • This is great! My Staffy is scared of cats, he has been around them a bit, but seems to run away as soon as the cats approach.

  • that is so cute

  • he's a big boy lovely big head, I have got a two year old female awesome dog

  • class love it!!!!!!!

  • ur dog is the double of our staff! check my video

  • LOl, what a cute dog. I have 2 rescue staffs and they are the softest pair of dogs. Its other dogs that start fighting mine on a walk and they are always jack russells or border terriers. Ignore the stupid folk on here, that dog is a credit to you.

  • i think if dat cat were trying he bash up that staff no probs lol

  • hey cityhunter why dont you come to my house and ill have my staffy rip ur face in half

  • city hunter swearing doesnt make u hard or right. they fought in pits ( one t ) they were kept in the family home cos they were terriers x bulldogs bred to fight dogs not people or livestock u really should try a little education

  • I have a staffy and know a lot of people who do and they have just been given a bad name there lovely natured dogs and so loyal i wouldn't give george up for anything

  • i have a red staffy and she is currently 14 years old she has been the most gentle dog i could as for... they have such a bad rep same as rottys my grandad have 2 yes they are big dogs but there harmless if you treat them with respect... its the same with any dog

  • Also, im not sure if you have ever owned a staffy, or any dog for that matter, but the influence an owner has on the dog will be the sole reason for the dog's personality. When you have a child do you assume they will be one way or another before raising them yourself? And their actions are majorly influenced on how they were raised correct? This is the same scenario.

  • First of all, GREAT VIDEO! very cute!

Secondly, i wasnt going to get into an argument on youtube but Cityhunter, you have not got your facts straight. Yes the breed were bred for fighting, many years ago, and since have branched off into the types of SBT's you see today. Now i understand your argument, but what you don't get is, when you say "google" the statistics, americans call any breed a "staffy". Whether it be american or english staffy. Which makes the accusations incorrect.

  • One of the most beautifull dogs i have seen!

  • Sooo cute, so cute!

  • whats the differance between the irish staff and english staff can someone fill me in? and is this the english or irish

  • This is truly the cutest thing ever.

  • They are such a wonderful breed of dog. Its such a pity they get such a bad press due to the worst possible excuses for the human race raising them to either fight or be aggressive. I have a Staffy. She is a sheer joy to be with and a great friend.

  • very nice staffoed should grow into a fine dog, its head is a brilliant shpe i think he would do very well in shows!

  • aww! so cute! u can tell the dog wouldn't intentionally hurt the lil kitty cat.

  • very very cute :-)

  • Watch out don't want him to get his eyes clawed out

  • i hate people who say these dogs are born savage. there is no such thing as a savage breed of dog. only a savage owner

  • i second that, and by the way staffordshire bull is known to be extremely good with children and is very protective and loyal, they are not called "the nanny dog" for nothing. The only reason i can think of that puts them in an agressive state is because they feel that their loved ones are in some sort of danger

  • its only the kennel club that doesnt recognize the breed in the 30's due to it being a fight dog, that doesnt mean it still was not bred for fighting or that its violent genetic nature was distilled just because it was labeled an acceptable breed. pitbull is more mastiff then bull terrier, it is slower and less hardy then a staffy which is why the cross breeding to produce a staffy occured, staffys are the fight dog and still are, sorry to burst your illusion. the statistics show.

  • hum...well, they were breed to fight bulls, but whatever...pitbull maybe less everythig, but still in some countries were used to attack "back people" so, are they racist now?

any dog can attack, talk to the boxer who came running and bited my staffie, he even made my dad fall...and my poor dog, ther ein the floor...evil, figure

if u dont have a staffie, just sush...if u had have one u would know their lovely. sick human minds screw up nice dogs.

  • @CityHunter84

You're a fucking idiot; Most dog attacks are not from bull terriers, I believe they aren't even in the top three. And they were bred specifically for fighting other dogs yes, but they were SPECIFICALLY bred not to be hostile towards their master or other people. Bad dogs are raised not born that way. That much is fact.

  • fuck you man i own 3 staffs and i could not ask for better dogs they are one of the most loving breeds there are. get your fucking fact right before shout your mouth off about somthing you know nothing about you aggorant prick.

  • 2009 investigation report

3/4 of all dog attacks blamed on Pit bulls and staffys were infact...false identification...they were other breeds of dogs involved in these attacks...Thank You...STOP BLAMING BULLY BREEDS PEOPLE !!

  • @CityHunter84 you're a dog racist lol

  • @connadders Indded, I back your answer 100%. My staffy is the softest dog you'll ever see, yet when people see her, they hold there nose up.

  • @connadders i agree. the worst thing a decent staff could do to you is lick you to death xD

  • @connadders Ur right, but what u must not forget what this race is capable of.

I rather face a rabid golden retriever then a Staffordshire.

The damage these dogs can deliver is way above the normal dogs, therefor they are dangerous.

The physics of this race is aimed for one thing only...kill or be killed, no matter how kind and loving they are, If and when they go crazy they are leathal weapons.

  • @Skalmans750 what a ridiculous comment. What has being rabid got to do with anything? If you're talking about an angry/vicious dog then youre in trouble with absolutely any breed. And what would you consider a normal dog? Obviously to you not one that's been around since the 17th century! Do you have any personal experience whatsoever with your suggestion of them being lethal weapons? No probably not. Keep your uneducated comments to yourself mate they're not productive or even interesting.

  • @pennthebaker For your information i use to train dogs for the Swedish Army and Police from 1987-1999.I can agree with the following.

    1. Its the owner whos responsible for the dogs behaviour.

    2. All dogs of any race can become dangerous.

A Crazy Golden retriever wont cause half of the damage as a Crazy Mastiff would.(Easy to understand exemple)

So why allow races that are able to cause this kind of damage?...Pure stupidity.

NO other race of dogs causes as much damage as these.

  • @Skalmans750 So let me guess you worked with the usual array of military dogs, german shepards, spaniels maybe the odd boxer....... any staffies? Any staffies at all? No, so like i said you have no personal experience with any of your claims. Whether you worked with dogs in the military or not doesn't mean you have any knowledge outside of your particular animals. All youve done is read the occasional horror story from some random article and formed a completely unbalanced opinion from that.

  • @Skalmans750 No other race causes as much damage as these? Show me the evidence and then show me what proportion of these animals were raised in cruel and harsh surroundings, which would lead to bad temperaments in any dog. I bet the ratio of violent incidents from dogs with STABLE and LOVING UPBRINGINGS ,is near enough identical to any other breed.

  • @pennthebaker Sigh... I repeat, ANY dog of ANY race can get crazy, sorted?

That´s not the issue, the issue is what the physical abilities differences between the races makes them capable of.

In Denmark these races is now forbidden to keep and to breed, Soon we will have the same law in Sweden of wich im happy.

  • @Skalmans750 Their physical abilities about match that of all bully type dogs...... so what, you gonna try and ban them all?! You're obviously not understanding what i'm saying mate so lets just leave it here. Besides there's a beautiful dog up there which is what this page should be about. Not about the ridiculous ramblings of a clueless opinionated man who's mummy obviously didnt buy him that oh so cute staffy puppy he wanted so much as a kid..

  • @pennthebake Ah...and there we got an exemple of the maturity level, as i suspected, your answer explains it all, yet a nother unfit Stafford owner.

    Good luck :)

  • @Skalmans750 I'm not a staffy owner so well done sherlock. I just believe that people should have a right to choose and own whichever dog breeds they wish without having to worry about being stereotyped by narrow minded people with nothing better to do than shove their opinions into subject matters of which they have no knowledge. You are one of the people that fall in to this category. As far as immaturity goes you have it in spades mate proven by your ability to form opinions without knowledge

  • @Skalmans750 I was merely making a humorous observation

  • i dont know why staffys get a bad name i have one and she is just as cute as yours and nothing like what the press say

  • Seriously cute dog!

  • lookin for one in Ohio KY or indiana... If anyone has any info let me know! Thank you!

  • look for a pedigree kennel club in your area on google .Full name of breed , Staffordshire Bull Terrier ; )

  • ralphie has a lovely looking face - how old is he in this vid?

  • this is the cutest thing ever your dog was being so gentel :D

  • staffordshires are not bred to fight, they were bred as bull baiters you knob.

  • very cute !

  • what funny puppy. theyll be best mates 4 eva

  • he he bless

  • dayLight95..they do hurt when they're pups, but like HulmeBoy09 says you have to train them not to.

  • aww my staffy bull terrier thinks our puss is HIS and always wants to play and cuddle him like this, such a sweet, gentle breed!

  • there play bite isnt hard i always play fight with my dog and she bites propa gentle

  • listen m8 if your dog draws blood when it bites you doesnt mean all staff will i have 2 of em tyson a old arse brindle dog now and bluey a blue staff he is just over 1 yr old both of them play fight with me and my kids but NEVER draw blood they been trained to play nice i suggest u do the same with yours

  • mynes a puppy -.-

  • ahh ok yh they can be a little ruff when they young buut im sure u could train him/her to play nice slight tap on its nose and a firm NOOOO! should do it haha good luck

  • yeh she stops usualy but sometimes she gets to exited and every one and every thing ends up in her mouth :P

  • Then you should learn how to raise a dog and don't get one if you don't know how to.

Cutest thing I've seen in a long time, adorable! :D

  • fuck off you fucking nigger. you dont deserve a place in this country. she was three months old. we allready tort her to sit, stay lie down, leave, come, and down. she bite abit coz shes teething puppys cant help that. its just that it hurts a bit more coz staffs are naturaly strong animals origionaly bread to fight. so fuck off low life.

  • I'm not black and what country is that if I may ask? Maybe instead of spending time raising your dog, you parents should spend more time raising you little kid. I'm glad that you tought your dog that and I'm happy for you. Yes, puppys bite. But my dog was immediately tought to not bite, and if he bites during play time, he bites very gentle, he only nudges me

Now, why in mothers earth did you call me a nigger and why do I don't deserve a place in "this" country? By the way, I live in Sweden...

  • i even said she only bites wen shes exited and i ment earth not country and you are black coz i did ur mom last night

  • I know what you ment, you ment country even though you don't know who I am and where I live. You did my mom? Talk about immaturity... Stop with being a immature little kid and insulting people for no reason, seriously. Don't be such a tuff guy behind your computer screen. If she bites whe's exited, then that's wrong, you should teach her not to, it could go over her head. Good luck with your dog.
